And so, our work can be a calling only if it is reimagined as a mission of service to something beyond merely our own interests. Ben continues our series preaching from 1 Kings 17: 17-24. In this passage Elijah is confronted by the death of his host's child. Through Elijah the widow is able to see Yahweh as the God who rescues and brings life where no other gods are able.
