  • PY15: Selling Everything To Make A Difference

    01/01/2015 Duración: 42min

A few years ago, I stumbled across a book at a pivotal moment in my life (my family's as well).  Taking a hard look around at our stuff and realizing what truly mattered.  The nidus was several events and some sad news that reshaped our framework.  I plowed through Robin Sharma's book:  The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari while simultaneously applying the concepts within. The journey continues and my family has pared down our possessions to about 40% of what they were a few short years ago.  Some of it sold, but most donated.  The community resources and services were so helpful and distributing items to those in need and the local veterans' service organization took the rest and put it to good use.  Nothing was wasted. On that same thread, I sat down for a conversation with my good friend Dusty Magill and captured his journey of transformation and helping as he travels throughout the world.  I think you'll like what he has to say. With Gratitude, Mitchel M.D.

Read more on the Blog We are all way too busy.  What is the typical response whenever you ask someone how they are doing?  "Oh, man.  I am so busy!  I'm good but so tired." It doesn't have to be that way.  Really. It is so easy to get wrapped up in all of life's offerings.  Learning to say no is a powerful tool to shaping a life you want. My guest today shares his passion and mission of simplifying life.  I met Joel Zaslofsky this summer in Portland at the Word Domination Summit.  Joel is passionate, energetic, honest and an overall great guy.  After meeting him in person, I knew his message was spot on with the mission of  Project You. Joel and his team are putting on an amazing conference next month in the beautiful twin cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul.  I grabbed a few words about it from the SimpleRev.com site below:   The World Is Changing … and Simple Living is Responding
