Rise Up Worldwide Radio Show

Episode #55 was the one year Anniversary of the show and the team was super excited to celebrate it. We decided to bring in our spouses and have a Valentines Day Special as well. With a packed house we broadcasted from "Studio G" aka GDott's home. We spoke about how, when and where we met our significant others and debated the #AlternativeFacts that the visiting spouses gave!     In the 2nd hour we discussed Valentine's Day and asked the wives what they did for their husbands.  Joe B.O.S.S. Reflected on the past years accomplishments on the 1 year anniversary, and showed great appreciation to all those involved in its growth.        

On this week's episode of RiseUpWorldwide, we had special guest Phil Best, CEO of the "EmpowerMEN" Organization. Phil spoke about "EmpowerMEN" and how it can be a lifeline for men dealing with everyday issues. Then he spoke about the special event his organization is hosting on Monday, February 13th. We immediately jumped into different ideas people can share to celebrate Valentines Day. Phil explained that a lot of times a woman will unknowingly hint at or indirectly tell you a perfect gift that she would like. On this week's episode of Riseupworldwide, we had special guest Antoine Hilton in studio. We started by discussing the state of the Knicks and whether or not they need to trade Carmelo Anthony. Antoine spoke about some of his current music, including the meaning behind his most recent single, "Forbidden". Then we spoke about some vices that we may consider forbidden. In the second hour we touched on Chrisette Michelle and her decision to go forward with performing an the inauguration. Antoine then proceeded to sing live on air. On this episode of Riseupworldwide, we had special guest Rayna Brown in studio. She talked about how she got her start in Gospel singing at a very young age. Her husband, Tyrone, also called in to join us on air. She then blessed us with a beautiful rendition of one of her songs live on air.    In the second hour, Joe shared his invest in yourself moment, which was don't be afraid to take a leap of faith. Sometimes the fear of the unknown keeps us from chasing our dreams, not knowing the blessing that awaits us. The topic for the evening was whether or not you can be a Feminist and be pro-life. We even had a caller chime in all the way from Tampa Florida.   Episode #45 was an awesome show with the cast of "For Better or For Worse", the stage play directed by Racquel Marie Jones. Racquel, who also acts in the play, stopped in the studio with one of her cast members Otis Becoat. On this week's episode of Riseupworldwide, we had special guest Q the Prophet on the line. We touched on a few different topics including how he got his foot in the industry and some of the many artists that he has worked with.
