He visits over to 200 UK primary schools every year delivering literacy workshops; it is estimated he has met with over 150,000 children over the last three years. Before turning her hand to writing, Maggie worked mainly as an accountant, with a diversion into practising as a nutritional therapist. She's best known for her thrillers, but also writes about non-fiction topics, in particular nutrition, but she has also written a book about writing, called Write Your Novel! From Getting Started to First Draft. Recently she accepted a publishing deal with Amazon's Lake Union imprint, which will involve the republication of her first novel, His Kidnapper's Shoes. If you go to look at the website I don't think that I've ever seen such a compelling collection of audio testimonials praising Peter's work and support through the design process. I've experienced it first hand, and indeed left Peter a testimonial myself, so I was very happy to get the opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes when a new cover is created.
