It’s another competitive episode with Andy, Lucy, and I sharing the worst podcasts we could find in the Hobbies category. Last week’s winner Lucy presents a woman who “collects” reborn babies. Nothing creepy AF about this. I present a show about live action role playing (LARP) and Andy comes in with a show by and for fans of the quickly forgotten video game, Pokemon GO.  There’s a lot to unpack this week so when the competition ends, things are just getting started! Jerry Banfield put out another BANGER about his crush at the yoga. That’s normal. Joey C. joins the show to give his side of things that have escalated with Ian Hawk, Dabblestorian, and others (I keep it brief). After a quick update on Paddy Brokenskull, Chad Zumock, Kimmel v. Rodgers, and Scorch, we learn about Howard Stern coming down with Covid somehow. Then on to two losers who are on the downsides of their careers - Maddox does an AMA about his new “documentary” and Stuttering John complains being extorted while actively extorting yours truly

It's another special "emergency" episode. Stuttering John was going off on his former moderator Andrea Brower on his show on Saturday. Andrea wanted to respond so we had her on today to react to some of the SJ clips about her specifically. John is still upset that Nikki B., his former moderator that he raised hundreds of dollars for, wouldn't do John's bidding. John somehow checks every box on the definition of a narcissist. His former mod's husband is in the middle of chemotherapy and John's upset that she didn't follow his every order. After Andrea leaves we are joined by Ian Hawk. I didn't really know what I was getting myself into with Ian on the show. Seems like he's messing with people IRL which is not something I condone. I just knew that John had "called the police" on Ian and was interested in that story. This week we’re checking in on a couple of podcasts we haven’t heard before, starting with a show about sex and sex workers. When adults use words like “naughty,” you know it’s going to be lame. But then we check out a show about obese women dating. I’d rather be engaged in “blood play.” Doug from Who’s Right takes a break from job hunting to join the show and talk about meeting your future wife at a strip club. After we get to know Pixie, again, we check out Swipe Fat and meet Alex Stewart. Alex had a rough week. She fell down on the stairs, she had her period, and her boyfriend asked her if she is planning on losing weight at some point. Sounds horrific. We also check in on Paddy Brokenskull, he’s also had a rough week. But his show with Manny is fire! We’re trying this one again, the worst podcast in the Audio Drama category. I came in with a podcast from Australia that is easily the laziest audio drama show of all time and it somehow takes seven people to produce it. Then Lucy found a show from just one guy that takes a lot of effort but zero talent. And finally, Andy comes in with a musical that actually sounds like a musical from what I’ve been told. It’s another midweek episode where Lucy, Andy, and I compete to find out who can find the worst podcast in a different podcast category. This time around I picked “drama” and I thought that was pretty self-explanatory. I was wrong. I think Lucy misunderstood the assignment and I’m still scratching my head about Andy’s pick.  Andy comes in hot with “Who Shat on the Floor at My Wedding” (which I just looked up and is under the category of true crime) about lesbians who saw some poo on the bathroom floor and made an entire podcast about it. Lucy Tightbox presents the drama that is “Hot Tee” which involves gingerbread houses or something. I brought a sci-fi scripted show with bad acting and foley work called “Omega Star 7” (vote for Karl). After some MSCS cringe we check in on Tom Myers who continues to baffle us with his joke structure. Then Kevin Brennan has such a bad episode of Misery Loves Company that he feels the need to apologize for it and we get to see Stuttering John’s true family dynamics on Christmas

This week we’re checking out a podcast that explains whether or not you’re allowed to like certain movies and TV shows. Have you ever wondered whether or not Gremlins passes the Bechdel test? You haven’t? What’s wrong with you?? Tab Birt joins the show to explain how Anita Sarkeesian tried to ruin video games and Jerry hangs out in studio with us. After learning nothing about Gremlins, Anthony Cumia and Missy B join the show to witness John getting pranked and freaking out on his poor mother. This week we're competing to find who could bring the worst podcast in the category of entrepreneurship. Starting your own business is commendable, unless your business is just about how you have a business. This turns out to be the case quite a bit. Andy comes in with a show with the most confusing premise I've ever heard, I'm still trying to figure out Film Cooper. I brought our boy John Cerasani (famous from Who Are These Socials). He's busy promoting an event in Las Vegas that you can go to to "network" for just $2k. Lucy brought in Premium Mindset where a couple of guys who run "disruptive" companies complain about their terrible employees. After we each present our entrepreneurship podcasts, we have two more submissions into the Holiday Song Parody contest and Liam killed it. Then Stuttering John is caught in multiple lies. We had an emergency broadcast yesterday to analyze John's video where he worked up tears while talking about how amazing he was as a substitute teacher. Then, a special guest came on and revealed some amazing work he's been doing behind the scenes. It really shows who John is as a person. As soon as he thinks he has some information on someone who makes jokes about him, he's ready to dox them and post photos of their homes. The shocking revelations start at about the 48 minute mark. We're joined by Jen from the Jingles Department and Tookie to start the show. Then an anonymous guest who's been trolling John ("Tim Dranksy") and Cardiff join the show. I'm still on vacation so here's a bonus episode of WATP from June of 2023 with Dick Masterson and Vinnie Paulino. We checked out Marble Forest, which is a "Paranormal and mystery podcast." This is what extremely dumb girls used to do in their bedrooms during sleepovers, now it's being recorded and uploaded to the internet. It's brutal. We’re taking a page from Why Are You Laughing as we research the history of the falling out between Howard Stern and Stuttering John Melendez. John left for the Tonight Show but that’s not why Howard now dislikes John. Because he can’t help it, John bashed Howard when he was on Adam Carolla’s show for being cheap. It was completely unnecessary but Stuttering John’s motto is ABB - always be bashing. As we see, this is a pattern in John’s life as Hal Sparks can tell you. Andy Q. I really thought these shows would have more to do with society and culture but then again how many shows in the comedy category are funny? Andy Q.
