This week we’re still recovering from episode 500 but the show must go on! Trash Tuesday is a show we’ve reviewed before but we’re revisiting it because Annie Lederman is leaving the show. They just said their last goodbyes this week and there’s a lot of speculation about the real reason for the break up. I have my theories and Lucy has an interesting take I haven’t seen anywhere else. Andy and Lucy are both on the show to discuss pregnant women making it all about them all the time. After baby talk we check in on Sarah Silverman who once made a joke about Paris Hilton. For shame Sarah! Then Joe Matarese had Ray DeVito on his show to find out which of the two knows less about hosting a show. They come up with the worst idea ever and Ray likes it so much he pitches it to Kevin Brennan. Also, Stuttering John isn’t just a buffoon, he’s also a really bad person. It’s our 500th episode and we’re celebrating with some of our least favorite podcasts from the first 499. We start with the Mike O’Meara Show featuring guys who were on the Don and Mike Show which I think was good back in the day. Then we look at the Boogered Up podcast featuring my favorite real-life Beavis - Spaz Kid. Also, Dax Shepard has been hosting a terrible podcast for years and we’ve been letting him get away with it. We’re joined by Vinnie Paulino, Andy Q. Public, and Kindy to get things rolling. We have a fantastic tribute to our 500th episode from Myster Magenta, Jodie B, Ed the Editor, and Adam Theroux as well as a half-assed tribute from Cardiff Electric. Then Missy B joins the show to discuss Stuttering John calling her a sperm receptacle. After some good natured ribbing with StutJo, Dick Masterson joins us to learn more about the LGBTQ community with Queer Kid Stuff. This week we’re back to the competition format but with some new parameters. Chris and Karl team up to present the worst comedy podcast they could find - Adult Babies Show. Three truckers sit around and periodically crack up over nothing. Then Lucy and Andy team up to present Cannabis Coffee Hour starring LCS reject Rob Cantrell. Both of these shows have over 250 episodes despite having zero listeners.  Once we get past a lot of cringe white boy rap, we get a hot take from Opie about the hot topic of gluten-free foods. Then Liam McEneany gets Harrison Young to explain his living room baseball game and Ryan Rebalkin gets Joe Matarese to explain the Rocky-themed play that he wrote about his life. Then Tookie and Cardiff join and we check in on Stuttering John’s health issues. He spent the weekend bedridden and figures it’s just because he didn’t get enough sleep. This week we’re checking in on Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who is still trying to convince everyone that she’s a black woman. She loves talking about her “identity” which is probably the main topic she should avoid. And for a woman obsessed with being black, it’s pretty odd that she thinks race is a social construct.  Christian Bladt stepped in at the last minute and was probably the first guest who did more prep than I did. We’re taking a week off from the competition format to revisit Rich Vos and Bonnie McFarlane’s show. They’ve been doing this show for about a decade, you would think that naturally it would evolve. Nope. It’s exactly the same. These two record one show per week and do zero prep, bring zero energy, and execute zero jokes. I hope they’re playing characters and aren’t just the awful people they appear to be for 45 minutes a week. Lucy Tightbox and Andy Q. Public both join the show to figure out which Hello Fresh protein is Rich’s favorite. Then we see just how good Brendan Schaub is at drifting in his truck (practice makes perfect). This week we're doing a deep dive into the world of Brendan Schaub. We check out the latest episodes of Tune Town, The Golden Hour, and the Fighter and the Kid. Tune Town is a weird, highly produced show about cars because that’s Brendan’s new hobby. He’s a gearhead who doesn’t know anything about cars. Of course the Golden Hour is always a brutal watch as Erik Griffin and Chris D’Elia both pretend to be interesting. And finally TFATK did their first ever live show in Austin and it was embarrassing. Where’s their friend Joe Rogan? Doesn’t he live there? Mersh from Revenge of the Cis joins the show to help promote our live show coming up on March 22nd. He’s well-versed in the Schaubverse but he didn’t realize that Tom Myers has a weekly podcast so we dig into some great political commentary from the King himself. Then Andy is checking out Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules who has teamed up with Jack Osbourne. That’s not even fair. This week we’re checking out a podcast that’s long overdue, the Joe Matarese Show. When he rebooted his podcast a few months ago he was ready to try something different. Unfortunately, it turned quickly into every other show but way worse as Joe painfully interviews nobodies. He might be the worst interviewer of all time. I’m not sure what Joe might be good at, but it’s definitely not this. Eric Zane joins the show and is tortured with the most mundane Italian stereotype jokes ever told. After a cringe of the week that might need more scrutiny, we check out the clips that Opie himself thinks are the highlights of his show and even a hoarse Tookie is dumbfounded. This week we’re looking for the worst podcasts in the music commentary category. Each of us brought a different version of this type of show. I brought pretentious a-holes who think they appreciate music better than other people and prove it by naming obscure artists. We’ve covered Your Favorite Band Sucks before but it was worth a revisit. Then Lucy presents Songs My Ex Ruined where three women have no idea what they’re talking about when discussing Beth by KISS. Finally Andy brings in a reaction show where Josh Jones and his uncle watch Facts by Tom MacDonald and are wildly confused by everything. This week's competition is all about sex and relationships. Lucy found Christians who are into BDSM and they do it the way it was meant to be done according to the bible. I brought in a show about not jerking it to porn, as if that's a thing. Andy did a deep dive exploration of Lana Rhoades. It's quite a journey. This week we’re competing to find out who can find the worst improv comedy podcast. Of course, it would be much harder to find a good improv podcast, but we do not want to work that hard. I brought Sounds Funny Radio which tries to pull off Whose Line Is It Anyway. The difference is, that show had both talented people and editing. Andy brings in a show that wasn’t on my radar, Chris D’Elia and his brother do an advice show called Lifeline. Lucy found a user-generated improv show that’s enragingly confusing. The podcast this week features three people who are passionate about diapers. And why not, what a convenient place to pee! There’s supposed to be some kind of bet or something but that part didn’t really make sense. It was more about partying, wearing diapers, and rolling 20 sided dice.
