On this episode Clint and Ethan sat down together (after some grueling touring) to talk in depth about the recent news that James Hetfield has once again entered rehab, postponing the highly anticipated Australian/New Zealand stadium tour. The news shocked the Metallica family and left us all wondering and worried about the frontman of our favorite band. After receiving a ton of e-mails about the issue MUYP decided to take an entire episode to respond to some of the questions some of you had concerning the future of the band and James himself. It's important to note that nothing more is known beyond the initial statement made by the other three members of Metallica. This conversation exists as a forum for those of us concerned and unsure about the future. We send all of our love and respect to James, the band, and the entire Metallica family and look forward to getting Papa Het back happy and healthy and ready to continue to lead us all in this journey together called Metallica. On this expedited episode we get on the phone remotely to talk through the shocking news that James Hetfield has once again checked himself into rehab. Few details are known other than that the Australian/New Zealand tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled. News broke via Billboard.com over the weekend that representatives for Metallica and Live Nation worked together prior to the 2017 North American Stadium tour to dump nearly 90,000 tickets into the secondary market, effectively acting as their own scalpers to capitalize on and research true market ticket value.
