Digital Strips

One of the newest styles in the web comic world is the 3D comic. Phil found this strip an argues it being the best example on the web and once you see it you just might agree.

This will be the first in a series of podcasts to take advantage of summer vacation. Here we have one of my favorite drawn strips in a long time. Join us as we explore this vampire version of Romeo and Juliet, actually everyone is already dead so we can't be romantic, we'll just have to settle for vengence.

We're finally back to the podcasting after our little ConnectiCon break. This time Wednesday picks a short yet sweet comic that's not about a video game store. YAY! Be sure to stay through the end as I have a special treat as I finally dug up our original theme.

We have for you a treat in an interview with Brian Carroll. This was recorded last Tuesday so it's seriously out of date considering some of the content but it's still a good interview anyways.

I promised and I'm actually following through this time. After a week of back and forth I talked Platinum Studios into coming on the podcast to discuss their challenge. We go into many of the details that have been complained about and even explore his opinions on the world of web comics.

You had to know this was coming. Zampzon hops on the mic for his farewell to you. After a year and 3 months of bringing you his quick repartee Zampzon is moving on to his own projects. The two of us take a stroll down memory lane as we remember the year that was.

That's it, I give up on having shows less then 30 minutes. You won't believe but I cut over ten minutes from this one. Along with the review we also have a couple of audio ads and talk about our up and coming pressence at ConnectiCon. If you thought Phil and I agreed to much then you should listen to this show.

I swear we cut back to one comic per show to bring the time of the review to under 30 minutes. You're probably discovering by now that with Weds and Phil on the same line it's hard to keep them going in a straight line. In this episode we take a look at this beautifully drawn strip. Oh, an that's my heavy breathing you hear...damnit.

How can you resist a comic with a name like Sequential Art? Phil may not be around to complain about how little action there is but Wednesday and I were more then enough to go through this delightful and expertly drawn comic. Watch out anthropomorphic lovers, it looks like you have yet another champion in your ranks.

The ever popular Wednesday White joins us for another pick from Mr. Phil Kahn. This time we review the Noir strip which did an excellent job of completely losing me and making me laugh at the same time.

Zampzon has returned just in time for some technical difficulties. I promise you when this was recorded everything was synced up. This time Zampzon pulls a bunny out his hat dazzles bright shinny things in front us like the word punk.

Ever since we heard this strip was looking to make the talk box we have been dying to review this one. I dare you to not think about the Wonder Years when you read this strip, although I've pretty much one the dare by bringing it up in the first place.

Phil pulls a guaranteed success out of his daily read which happens to be on Daku's as well. If cleavage is any measure of success then this strip is going to rule them all.

We go over each and every each and give our impressions. Who was the judged the best and which one won the random number prize.

Phil shows us his softer side with this nomination for the Soap channel. Sordid City Blues gets a wide range of responses from each member of the show as we disect it from every little plot down to the angst that seems to be required from young twenty somethings.

We finally get back to our roots after covering the NY ComicCon and our Joey Manley review. In this review we talk about the manga inspired comic Falcon Twin. It looks like this comic has raised more then the typical I like this I hate this strip.
