    23/01/2017 Duración: 02h09min

Welcome back to another fun-filled episode of the podcast that makes your work day slightly more tolerable! On this week's show, Mike and John discuss their favorite and least favorite shows as usual (including that super intense Sherlock finale) but also, by viewer request, take some time for a more researched and speculative discussion. The guys have compiled their notes on the big (and we mean BIG) crop of upcoming midseason shows, and let you know which ones they are looking forward to (not too many honestly) and which ones they think will last more than their pilot season (too many, unfortunately). Stay a while, and listen, to this week's power-packed episode of What Did You watch this Week! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 44: Sayonara yelled the dog, running away

    16/01/2017 Duración: 02h11s

Welcome back to the only podcast you need for opinions about the shows you watch every week! On this episode, the boys have a very divergent opinion on the latest episode of Sherlock, and it could spell disaster for the entire podcast from here on out! Aside form that, however, they also manage to do some good coverage of SHIELD, This is Us, and The Good Place, as well as a number of other great and not so great shows. Mike makes a hard push for the entire Fargo series as a whole, and John caught the first 2 episodes of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and weighs in on that. All this plus news, trailers, and some potty language that we just couldn't help ourselves with on this exciting installment of what did You watch this Week! Hello loyal viewers of our podcast program and welcome to the episode that is the answer to life, the universe, and everything! Act now and you'll also get a super hard push for a Jeffrey Donovan show on Hulu, the review of the Doctor Who Christmas special, and as promised, the revealing of our thoughts on Rogue One, from finish to middle, then a little more toward the end, but then kinda back to the beginning, and then the end, but a little more middle... • Ep 41: That he had an allergic reaction to

    26/12/2016 Duración: 01h31min

Happy holidays, loyal viewers! We here at WDYWTW hope you're all enjoying your festivities, families, and foibles! On this week's episode, the boys who make noise have a limited selection of viewing to discuss, but that doesn't stop them from bringing you the info! We both watched all 8 episodes of the Netflix Original series "The OA" and have a lot to say about that series, and we both found ourselves watching another new series to Netflix called "Travelers" that got some pretty positive reviews from us! In addition, Mike watched some movies he liked, John watched some he didn't like, and Adam ruined Christmas for us all! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 40: Causing An Explosion of Flowers

    19/12/2016 Duración: 01h58min

Greetings from TV land! This week the guys find themselves staring down the barrel of a week on hiatus! Rest assured good listeners, they still had stuff to talk about, starting with the final 2 episodes of Ash vs Evil Dead. What is up with the trip to the past? Will Ash be able to undo everything from the movies? What is up with the Jedi spirits? Beyond that, there is a lot to unpack in the midseason finale of Timeless, Mike watched a couple of movies he wants to talk about, and John saw the first episode of the new Netflix original The OA (minimal spoilers). Please note: We both watched Rouge One, but due to how new the film is to theaters, we declined to talk about it this week to prevent spoilers from something this epic. • Ep 39: And then fell to the ground

    13/12/2016 Duración: 02h26min

On this week's episode... well, let's be honest here: At least half of it is just devoted to going over the amazing season finale of Westworld. We'd love to say that all the shows get equal treatment on this episode, but that would be a bald-faced lie. The finale... I mean come on! Really! It was just... and then that one scene... and what about the purse?! And the gunfights! And was that a man, or a host? I mean come ON! And yeah... Flash and Arrow, and This is Us... some trailers and some movies... But guys, come on! Westworld is done for over a year! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 38: A strange light appeared in the sky

    05/12/2016 Duración: 02h25min

Welcome back to a jam-packed episode of What did you watch this week, the podcast that knows how to spell the word award! On this episode, the boys talk in depth about the penultimate (that means next to last) episode of Westworld's first mind-blowing season, and psych themselves up for the finale! In addition, they have a lot of unpacking to do with the four-part crossover event on the CW's DC universe, and boy is there a lot of mixed feelings there! As if that weren't enough, the guys also talk about This is Us and the major happenings in the follow-up to the Thanksgiving episode, Adam ruins the Wild West for us, Mike couldn't make it thru a new movie for lack of genuine interest, and John throws in the towel (finally) on one of his shows! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 37: The man was walking his dog when

    28/11/2016 Duración: 02h14s

The shows may have been light this week because of the holiday, but John and Mike still had plenty to say about the ones they did watch! Westworld had some outstanding revelations and deeper digs on the mysteries, and Supergirl did a good job of drawing some parallels between the struggles of alien races across its characters. The boys also discuss relationship[s on This is Us, and lament the end of the season for Stan Against Evil. All this plus more, including the trailer for the best looking show that will undoubtedly be cancelled early on in its run, on this week's Granny Award Pinning episode of What did You Watch this Week! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 36: One Seemingly Normal Day

    22/11/2016 Duración: 02h07min

Welcome back fans, friends, and those new to the program (tho really, if you're new, should you be starting at episode 36? I mean... I won't judge, but still...) On this week's installment of the greatest podcast about two guys ranting and raving about stuff they watched on TV and cinema, the guys once again give some serious love to Westworld, and discuss THAT big reveal! (Yeah, you know the one!) Also, we share the feedback from the resident Batman aficionado, Martin, in regards to Gotham, and we spread more love and joy for Stan against Evil, which is just as quickly winning a place in our hearts, as it is fleeing from them (short seasons FTL!) All this, plus the usual recap of superhero shows, a look at the finale of AHS Roanoke with mike, and Adam ruins drugs with John! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 35: Even though he was a German Shepherd

    14/11/2016 Duración: 02h05min

Welcome back boys, girls, aliens and animals across the ark! This week the boys who make noise tackle the ever deepening mysteries of WestWorld (of course) and talk about their mutual love for Doctor Strange, now in theaters. Mike catches us up on American horror Story, and John watched episodes of Lucifer and Frequency that actually turned his views on them around (fortunately.) In addition, some love is given to the CW heroes (as well as some shade) and the ridiculousness of Lethal Weapon has the guys shaking their heads (but also still loving the show as a whole). Come, stay a while and listen to the latest episode of What did you Watch This week. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 34: But only in Japanese

    07/11/2016 Duración: 02h32min

Another week, another fun-filled check-in with Mike and John on their critically acclaimed (not really) podcast. This time around, the guys get even deeper into Westworld as the mysteries abound and the characters develop more. The guys also talk about some need for character development on the shows they watch as a crucial part of the experience, as well as how some topics like racism are too big to feel properly handled when shoehorned into an already full show about other topics. Your hosts also both watched Stan Against Evil and will let you know whether or not it is worth checking out, and This is Us gets more well-deserved love! All this, plus more on the latest installment of What Did You Watch this Week! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 33: That His Dog Could Talk

    31/10/2016 Duración: 02h12min

We're a third of the way to 100, and not losing any steam so far, ladies and gentlemen! On this week's fun-filled episode, Mike goes back to last week to discuss his thoughts on You're the Worst thus far, and John talks about how he's falling out of favor fast with Frequency (alliteration FTW!) The boys share some theories and split on one major one regarding WestWorld (which will make the rest of the season interesting for them) and there is a lot of love paid to This is Us once again (because the show is that great! All this, plus some relative good superhero shtick and a Jackie Chan movie that Mike didn't like for the first time ever. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 32: Little did he know

    24/10/2016 Duración: 02h31min

On the next exciting installment of the WDYWTW podcast, the guys dive even further into Westworld and talk about the new theories and twists that came about from the third episode. Some ideas were proven wrong, while others now have a leg to stand on, and one is kinda out there enough that maybe it's true? Also this week, Mike once again gives his "Pick of the Week" to a tried and true standard, while John hands the award on his end to a newcomer from the British Isles, and tells you all why you need to start watching! Additionally, we crack open the nuts that are the ever growing lineup of DC superhero shows, reminisce hot summer days with This is Us, and talk about how Timeless is doing time travel vs how Frequency is handling it. All this and more on the ever indulgent What did you watch This week! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 31: And B Horror Movies

    17/10/2016 Duración: 02h46min

Welcome back, loyal listeners, to the latest episode of WDYWTW, and boy is it packed to the gunnels! The boys had their hands full this week with all the shows they are enjoying as well as new and returning favorites. The CW superhero lineup gets a full blanket of love now that Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow are back on the air, but do Mike and John really still love all 4 equally? Also, the discussion gets deep and philisophical-ish surrounding the second episode of WestWorld, and whether murder and sex are evil with automatons. Mike says "no thanks" to a few shows this week as he pulls the plug on them, and John does the same for a couple of different ones himself. All this, plus a couple of new surprises and a big push from John for 2 shows, one of which he can barely describe, and a movie that truly moved Mike and his wife... to fall asleep! 11/10/2016 Duración: 02h16min

In this week's episode, some doldrums are striking Mike especially hard with the same old same old playing out on his screen, while John tries to breathe a little more life into the tired tales where he can (but he's feeling it too.) The guys review some of the new shows, like Timeless and Frequency, as well as express their feelings over the return of Flash and Arrow to the small screen. All this plus Mike lets us know all about Yoga Hosers, John hates the girl on the train, and we rattle off some awesome trailers! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 29: There was a man who...

    03/10/2016 Duración: 02h31min

This week was more packed than a can of overweight sardines as the guys with the mouths do their best to plow through this massive season of new and returning TV shows. The latest episode sees them playing catch up (pretty effectively) with everything that the networks have fired at them recently, and giving their hard sells and hard passes on the offering. In a rare show of solidarity, it seems that most of the opinions were shared by the boys this week, including their views on Van Helsing and Lethal Weapon, as well as the true to form Gotham. Listen as Mike throws a few hard sells, and John tries to bring Mike over to the dark side with a push for a show his buddy swore to never watch!
