It's ugly in the city of Toronto with nothing but rain for the foreseeable future. So much rain that the city just might close the Don Valley Parkway due to flooding. Yesterday was a big news day with 'Crane Girl' captivating Toronto's attention, but because of how big this story got, you may not have heard the 'Chubby Beaver' story that happened in Hamilton -- it's a good one! What an interesting day to wake up in Toronto -- Somehow a young woman managed to climb up a 12 storey crane and get stuck, causing the shutdown of a major intersection and a spectacle of firefighters, police and paramedics coming to her aid. The weird incident happened during the Derringer show and John, Jenn and Ryan give a full play-by-play breakdown from the arrival of emergency services to the girl's ultimate arrest after being safely returned to the ground by heroic safety officials. Today we're talking about the random, weird things that we carry in our pockets, bags and that we have stored in the trunk of our cars. Some of the things that people horde onto are fascinating! Although it was a sad day yesterday with the Maple Leafs playoff run coming to an end, it was a gorgeous day to be outside... except for the mosquitoes. It supposed to be a bad year for the little buggers but Ryan has an odd 'Life Hack' to keep them away that he says actually works! What's considered cheating in 2017? With social media and texting, relationships are a lot more complicated now and what you may have thought to be innocent words or actions, could actually be cheating! In anticipation of tonight's big game 5 between the Leafs and the Capitals, the now infamous 'Dart Guy' calls in to the studio to pump up the city and the 'Ultimate Leafs Man' Mike Wilson drops by to shed some light on what our hockey squad must overcome tonight. Sadly we lost one of the worst national anthem singers of all time, Cuba Gooding Sr. -- although he may be gone, YouTube videos of his bad performance will live on forever to keep us smiling in his memory. Although it was a disappointing loss for our Toronto Maple Leafs last night, it wasn't all bad; Derringer attended the game with the man that has become the face of many Leafs memes, 'Dart Guy.' Talk about insta celeb! Remember High Park Zoo's wandering capybara couple? Well they just had capybara triplets and they're in need of names so zoo officials are asking for ideas! The son of a 117 year-old woman, believed to be the oldest person in the world, has died at the ripe old age of 97. Turns out waking up on the right side of the bed is actually the left side, according to a new study. Is there anything that could pull you away from tonight's Leaf game? What a game on Saturday Night! Derringer, Jenn and Ryan are riding high after that Leafs double OT win and nothing is going to bring them down... nothing except the mess that is the removal of the York/Bay Gardiner Expressway exit, which is already causing major traffic delays on a quiet Easter Monday in the city. Another bummer we found out about today is that we lost the world's oldest person, Emma Morano at the age of 117.
