We all know that hydro rates in Ontario are horrible, but now it turns out it could be killing Canadians as well! Arenas and curling clubs are struggling to stay open with rising energy costs. We've all seen actors and actresses portraying real people in TV and film, but which real people are the most commonly portrayed? Ryan's got you covered! Ryan's son lost a tooth last night and was visited by the Acton Tooth Fairy - hopefully the Tooth Fairy isn't as cheap as he is! Oh, and a woman got her pet snake stuck in her spacer earrings. Why? Did you catch some of the NHL All-Star weekend? We found it was kind of... Boring, to say the least. It had its moments though! Unfortunately John Hurt passed away this weekend after battling cancer. He was 77 and he will be missed. Valentine's Day is coming up fellas! Your wife or girlfriend might say something like "don't get me anything." This is a trap. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. Johnny Garbutt, who just got married this summer, is still relatively new to the whole marriage game. He made a mistake that he'll be paying for for the rest of his married life! Have you noticed how weird the weather's been this month? Yes it's been warmer than it should be but it has also been significantly darker than it has been in years! Are you looking forward to the NHL All-Star weekend? Skills competition is on Saturday, the All-Star Game on Sunday! Speaking of hockey, our main man Coach Babsy stopped by to let us all know that yes, the Leafs lost last night but he's got his eyes forward! Looks like Premier Wynne is backing out of the proposed road tolls on the DVP and Gardiner Expressway. Did you see that video of the Red Wings fan yanking a sign out of some Leafs fans' hands? We get the frustration pal, but we Leaf fans have been coping with disappointment for years! Unfortunately, we learned of Mary Tyler Moore's passing and shared our favourite memories of her. Have you seen the new Ontario 150 sign? It's expensive, and could have been put together by a couple of first graders! That's taxpayer money hard at work! On a more positive note, it's Australia Day! Derringer's daughter Maddy is back! She came in for Bring Your Daughter To Work Day and shared with us which Leafs players she likes - and not based on skill! Today we'll be celebrating with our Scottish friends because it's Robbie Burns Day! We got into talking about some of the things we see in the natural world and we've come to the conclusion that it's just as horrifying and awful as it is amazing and spectacular! We learned that around 600 thousand Facebook accounts are illegally accessed just about every day! Keep your Facebook friends close and your Facebook enemies closer! The Razzies announced their top picks of the worst actors, actresses, and movies of 2016! But we also learned some sad news: our favourite human being Flossie Dickey passed away back in November. Ryan took a trip to beautiful St. Jacobs, Ontario and he's fallen in love with Mennonite culture! He's also got a bit of a bone to pick with the internet after he did some online shopping. Looks like the NHL is dropping the "Breakaway Challenge," and most people are surprisingly okay with it; saying it's just too silly. Isn't that the point though? It's just a game after all. Well... Today's the day! Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States. We found out that Blayne Lastman ("Noooobody!") is actually in Washington to witness Trump's inauguration! Ryan told a hilarious story about how his friend's ex-girlfriend tried to get Ryan to go out with her! Does he break the Bro Code? You'll find out! The team behind the film A Dog's Purpose were caught trying to force a dog to swim in a pool he had no interest in swimming in. Animal rights groups are all over it. Former Montreal Expo Tim Raines was just voted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame -  a huge accomplishment! Big news day today! Businessman and former TV personality Kevin O'Leary has announced that he is officially running for Conservative leadership in Canada. It's not impossible to imagine that we could have a similar election as our American friends to the south. Ryan dropped some interesting facts on us today, like how 22% of people have admitted to doing something at work that they normally wouldn't do. He also found out which famous people past and present used to be male cheerleaders! Finally, Jose Bautista has signed a 1 year, $18M contract with the Blue Jays. He's not going anywhere! Yet... How was the drive in today? The worst? Toronto got hit with some brutal freezing rain - take your time and take extra care when you're out and about today! The "Most Reputable Cities in the World" list was released this week and guess what... Toronto made it to the top 5! Today is Kid Inventors Day so we took a look at some of the inventions made by kids or teenagers! Needless to say, we've never felt like such underachievers! An elderly lady was yelled at on a York Region Transit bus this weekend... Seriously, who yells at a senior citizen? We took Ryan to school today, teaching him a few things about Jacques Cartier (who is kind of a big deal in Canada!). Ryan brought us a list of popular TV shows that started with a different name! The list of Canada's Worst Highway Bottlenecks was released and, as you can imagine, Toronto owns the top spot! We had such strange weather yesterday! Snow, freezing rain, wind... You name it, we had it- and there were power outages because of it all! Obama made his final speech last night in Chicago before Donald Trump takes over and Babsy returned for his first visit of the New Year: we couldn't be happier to have him back! And you can blame all the snow on the "coumbis" clouds, according to Ryan.. whatever that word is? It's hard to believe, but it's been one whole year since David Bowie passed away. He truly was a musical genius. There was an Air Canada flight leaving Costa Rica that was grounded for a whole 9 hours - and to make matters worse, the passengers had to sit through it all on the plane! There was a horrible pileup on the 401 this weekend - a harsh reminder to drive safely and maybe invest in some winter tires! Did you catch the Golden Globes last night? Meryl Streep made the biggest splash last night after calling out Donald Trump in her lifetime achievement award acceptance speech. Steve Carrell and Kristen Wiig had the stand-up moment of the night! We had our first contestant for 'You Say You Got A Resolution,' and his resolution is to try and "go offline" more often - preferring to interact with real people rather than online! It's freezing in Toronto today, but she's a Friday! There was a road rage incident on the 427 that has one man facing assault charges even though there was no physical violence involved. The Molson Canadian Ampitheatre is changing its name to the Budweiser Stage. Team Canada lost to Team USA last night in the World Junior Championship Game... In a shootout.
