Toronto and the GTA got DUMPED with snow! Hopefully you have your snow tires on by now! The fellas talked about dealing with awkward Christmas situations, like receiving a gift from someone you weren't going to buy a gift for! Derringer, for the past 15 years or so thought he married into a Ukrainian family, but turns out they're Polish! This morning we learned of the John Glenn's passing. He was the first American to orbit the Earth -- he died at 95. Frank D'Angelo has a new movie coming out, even though he probably should have stopped some time long ago! The Ontario government has made it to the Tool of the Day... Again... It was a busy morning today! Babsy stopped by before he takes the local squad out west for a few games, and did you hear about the theme park in Japan that froze an aquarium full of wildlife to turn it into a skating rink? Not one person thought that freezing the aquatic wildlife was a bad idea! Turns out there is still at least one known person on this planet that was born in the 19th century and it's her 117th birthday today! Plus, Ryan has another confession to make... We had a great morning today - in fact this is the best morning we've had in a long time! It's Ryan's birthday today and he's turning 41! He tells us what he plans on doing with his day today AND he was kind enough to dip into his own wallet for our great listeners! A kid took to the streets after a night of playing Grand Theft Auto. Luckily he didn't have to spend any coin on road tolls, which could be coming to the DVP and Gardiner soon. Today kicked off the 10th year of the Toronto Transit Commission's "Stuff The Bus" campaign! It's always great to have our friends at the TTC be a part of Derringer in the Morning! The guys also talk about the propsed toll for using the DVP and Gardiner here in Toronto. Big news came from the NHL last night as they debuted the Vegas Golden Knights (not even Las Vegas?). Vegas, a city you probably know to be very flashy, had a nice presentation set up to introduce the logo... It was hilariously bad!
