Welcome to this weeks House of Hope Radio Ministry program! Open your Bibles to John 18:37....... If God can be fully proved by the human mind, then He’s no greater than the mind that proves Him. Humans are limited in every way and that’s why it takes faith in “Someone” more powerful than mankind to set our hearts right — His name is Almighty God. There’s no limit to God. There’s no limit to His wisdom. There’s no limit to His power. There’s no limit to His love. There is no limit to His mercy. No one has ever lived to prove themselves capable — only God who said, “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God'” (Psalm 14:1). We cannot confine God or measure His works; that would be like trying to measure the water in the ocean. Most of us know “about” God, but that’s quite different from knowing God. He hasn’t only revealed Himself to the human race from the beginning of time; He cared so much for our suffering that He sent His only Son to walk among us.

In his excellent work, The Daniel Dilemma: How to Stand Firm & Love Well in a Culture of Compromise, Pastor Chris Hodges notes that for many Christians, “We mean well, but we don’t love well.” He explains: “Truth without grace is mean. Grace without truth is meaningless.” According to Hodges, “People are ready for God, but they want hope, not a debate.” He adds that we must “connect before we correct,” since “reaching people is our purpose.” As a result, he warns, “The moment you make engaging with other people about ‘being right,’ you need to stop and check your heart.” He quotes author J. S. Knox, who stated, “You cannot antagonize and influence at the same time.” Hodges adds, “We have to earn someone’s respect before we can build a relationship. And we have to have a relationship before we can have influence.”

Scripture teaches that popularity with the world means death. Satan’s most effective tool is conformity and compromise. He is aware that one man standing in the midst of a secular people can move them in the direction of God, or away from Him. From compromise to deceit is a small step. God’s people are called to live for Him without compromise.

Let the world and everything in it hear my words” (Isaiah 34:1, NLT). America’s earliest concepts came from Holy Scripture, and God honored and blessed this country because it lifted up the Word of God in the home and in the government. God’s Word is engraved on buildings and printed on our money. We should thank God every day for America the beautiful! This nation has a rich heritage of faith in God; however, it has taken some dangerous turns. America is said to have the highest per capita boredom on earth! We know that because we have the greatest variety and number of artificial amusements of any country. The secret strength of a nation is not found in entertainment and ease of life; it is found in having faith in God that abides in the hearts and homes of its people. Only in Heaven will we know exactly what it is, but there is no joy on earth that will begin to match the glory of God’s home. Why? Because the citizens of Heaven will be in the light and glory of the One who died for us, and resurrected to life eternal. Jesus Christ will surpass any earthly thought of Heaven. Nothing made by the hand of man has ever been so beautiful as starlight on the water or moonlight on the snow. And the same hand that made trees and fields and flowers, the seas and hills, the clouds and sky, has been preparing for us a home in Heaven. Happy Father's Day to all of the Dads out there! My dad was always there......My Dad was always there! This morning I want to share with you a story that Pastor Leonard Navarre shared with me....Many years ago, I was teaching a class at a Bible college. I was facing the back door to the classroom. It was open, giving me a view across the hall to the door to the Men’s Restroom. A few minutes into the presentation, the bathroom door flew open and there stood my youth minister’s son with his britches and underwear around his ankles. With this panic look on his face, he screamed, “DAD I NEED YOU!” That is a slogan and cry from every child today, DAD WE NEED YOU! So what do we need? Ephesians 4:1 gives a glimpse into the desires of our families today. It states, “live a life worthy of the calling”, (AMP).

This morning we conclude our series, "No Christian Has Ever Been called to Go it Alone in His or Her Wall of Faith" My friends, your participation in a local church protects your personal fellowship with God. Christ prepared ther way for uninterrupted fellowship with the Father. Enemy forces, Satan are always at work around us, seeking to blow us off course. Sheer individual commitment is really not enough to keep us in line with God.

This week Angel interviews Evangelist Franklin Graham, President and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Franklin will be starting his Decision America-Northeast Tour in Portland, Maine Sunday evening, May 19th, 2019. Reverend Graham will bring the message of hope to New Englanders. Music Artist Crowder will be there as well. He is well known for his song Run Devil Run. Let's agree in prayer with Franklin and Angel that this will begin the greatest spiritual awakening America has ever known. Let's pray for many lost souls to make a decision for Jesus Christ and for many prodigals to return home. The time is now.

Before we get started with this weeks "House of Hope' I want to share with you this loving, inspirational note we received.... I received this note from Rita Wassenaar-Dunkelberger this weekend. Thank you for sending this note of love. It keeps us encouraged to keep going Rita! You speak Proverbs 16:24 over me and Sharon! We love you all! The picture I used is of Rita’s Dad, Jan, telling us his life story back in 2016 when we visited him during the Windom Revival. Love this man of God! Rita Wassenaar-Dunkelberger Last Sunday we were visiting my Dad in Minnesota. I walked into their home Sunday morning and saw Dad sitting in a chair by the radio listening to Pastor Dewey. It was such a beautiful sight! I should have taken a picture. I quietly sat down and we both listened to your wonderful preaching! Dad said your sermon series are wonderful! He listens to your radio program faithfully every Sunday morning. Thank you for all that you do to further the kingdom! We appreciate you and Sharon!
