What A Pair Of Trousers!

Quizmaster Chubbs "Not Richard Ellis" McGee is joined for this instalment of WAPOT trivia by Davian Dent and Samantha Pett from 'Strange Times', as well as Trouser men Ben and Stu. Chubbs is reluctant to give away the topic of the quiz and we are some way into the episode before it is revealed. Rest assured though, the standard of quality is on par with most WAPOT gear, and as a testament to that fact Davian gets so disinterested in what is being said that by the end he is just drawing rude things on Stuart's face in Google Hangouts.

Welcome to the 50th episode of What A Pair of Trousers!  Yes, it is astounding that this podcast hasn't imploded into it's own collapsed universe of obscurity and in-jokes, we agree. This week we have too many tidbits to list, "Learnt a New Word, Boys?" Wiggins reads abusive messages in a genial way and the WAPOT switchboard get's fired up again as the congratulatory calls start flowing in. Rest in Peace, Beanbag.    

Buckland is absent due to slowly dying on the lounge watching old Hey Hey videos, so Matt, Ben and Rich sally forth with a new segment called “Learnt A New Word, Boys?”, The Spider Circle of Life, Non-Sequitur Parenting, Primary School Political Hierarchy, an awkward school assembly tidbit and Matt goes to a wedding of a lifetime.

Matt pillows dues to illness, so Rich, Ben and Stu forge on with a horrible prank, weird expressions people use and the affect of religion in relationships. We are pleased to announce that this week's episode is almost completely pun-free! Note 1: We obviously don't condone the content of the business card.  Note 2: This episode may just take the award for most bits cut out of it. With Buckland out on stress leave, Wiggins is in charge. That can mean only one thing: PUNS! Ellis goes daffy for Dapto, plenty of good ol' fashion chicken talk, and mystery time. Where is it? No Chubbs this week (McGee I mean, not that we all had a week of non-tumescence) We are joined instead by Gibbo of the mythical podcast Muck Mood (which also popped Wiggo's podcasting cherry) to discuss inappropriate kids, the mystery of Mr Lover Lover and we play a game called Stalker Note or Billy Joel Lyric? Not to mention the fact that we have a TOPICAL STORY ABOUT ALF! Finally!

If this episode were a pizza, the toppings would be  generous lashings of Shakespeare's crappy puns, Chubbs being horrible to someone, real-life horror stories and an interesting crime report, topped with the stringy mozzarella of wishing we hadn't said that, all sitting on an extra special cheesy crust. Urgghhhhhh....

This week we are joined by long-time listener, occasional enjoyer Emily. She has brought with her a list of all the things that are wrong with the podcast. As well as discussing our obvious deficiencies, some other things discussed are laughing at casual racism, vagina beauty pageants, attraction to transgender sex workers, another WTF Confession and tying up loose ends from episode 43 (i.e. getting Wiggo to explain himself) Richard sounds more like the Baldy Man than ever before, which is a reference Emily (or indeed most people) won't get.

During episode 41, Rich kept dropping out of the conversation we were having over the internet. Not perturbed, Rich decided he would just record his own solo podcast while the normal podcast was going on, mainly giving a commentary of what was happening on his Facebook feed and reciting rude Russian words. This episode features a lot of in and out Ellis. Hang on, wait ..... Ellis has internet problems that see him dipping in and out of the conversation as we discuss a silly dream, an interesting way to honour a loved one that has passed away and if you could live inside a TV show for a month, what would it be? Featuring possibly the worst joke of the whole podcast so far. I will let you see if you can tell what I'm talking about. And no, I have no idea why Wiggo is so echo-ey. I must have put it on at some point in the edit but I couldn't be stuffed finding it again.

Hello all. We had an internet dropout-athon here with everyones internet munting up at one point or another. Ellis wins the prize as he drops out after about 10 minutes never to return. Still, we managed to cobble together an episode that features such treats as Matt cops a dusting, front vs back downage, Stuart addresses his relationship with Richard (at which point Richard disappears) detox update, a new pizza and other tidbits, coffee and erections as well as the second installment of Names For Ya Bits.  

Buckland is missing, he might be dead.This guarantees that this will be at least one listeners favourite episode of What A Pair Of Trousers ever.
