Jordan Peele has been making some very interested movies these past few years. Today's topic is no different, in the weirdness scale. It's pretty different as far as the alien genre movie goes, but it seems to be pretty on coarse for a Jordan Peele movie!! I think that the pair of us may have thought it went just a tad too far in that direction, but what did you all think of the Jordan Peele film, Nope? "Two siblings running a horse ranch in California discover something wonderful and sinister in the skies above, while the owner of an adjacent theme park tries to profit from the mysterious, otherworldly phenomenon." What happens when two siblings find something in the sky that they don't know how to explain? On top of that there seem to be many disappearances? For the most part, this is a film in the alien genre, but I promise, you're not going to be able to predict what happens at the end of the movie!! It's time to jump into the world of Thor once more!! We've been following Thor and his fellow Asgardians for many years now, and we're talking about the fourth installment of the series! I know that this is probably a confusing first sentence, but when you go into this movie, you need to know that you're in for a bit of a different experience than what you're imagining! We've been trying to go back and forth on how much we want to cover comic books, because we do want to cover comic books, and now we're talking about a book that started a popular series!! More precisely, we're talking about the first seven issues of the series. We are of course talking about the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson book, The Boys! "The Boys is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good." By the end of 2019 Dynamite had sole almost $4.5 million worth of omnibuses, which is about 150000 omnibuses! To say that this comic book was popular would probably be a bit of an understatement. The wild thing is that raw, you can find these books for a pretty decent price in the wild. PLUS this is a comic book that started the popular series of the same name, The Boys! There have been many vampire movies, and there have been many werewolf movies, and this was one of the few movies that did a pretty good job of bringing both of those monsters into one movie!!  We're on the third season of a very crazy tv show! This is one of those shows that you watch because you KNOW that it's crazier than batshit. Whether it's a season full of penises being shown, or people shrinking down and going into other people, apparently people really like that kind of stuff. The first movie, aside from the characters, has very little to do with this movie. This sequel actually is the starter to a bigger arch that spans many different films itself! It wasn't until a few years ago that anybody even thought that we might need anymore Star Wars. The prevailing theory is that any of the new Star Wars content has not been up to snuff. That was at least, until recently, when the expanded universe in the Star Wars worlds have been deemed excellent.
