This week Kyle's guest is Ray Pierle. Ray has been independently recording and releasing folky psych rock music from his Southside Indianapolis home for over 40 years! Though Ray's work has generated relatively little interest here in his hometown, his albums are collected by psychedelic rock fans around the globe. this show features an hour of words and music with Ray, including rare and unreleased selections.

On this week's show Kyle talks with Rodney Stepp. Forty years after recording two LPs of unreleased music, Rodney's legendary Indianapolis funk supergroup Rapture has issued an excellent 45 single through the U.K. label Super Disco Edits. Rodney shares the story behind the record's release.

On this show Kyle's guest is the legendary Indianapolis soul singer Kenny Dodson. Kenny shares memories of performing with his teenage singing group The Sensations, and his current work performing with Jerry Cummings of Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes.

Joining Kyle on this show is guitarist Steve Weakley, a founding member of the legendary Indianapolis band Funk Inc. Steve dropa a lot of knowledge about the history of jazz guitar in Indianapolis. I definitely recommend all soul music and jazz fans to check this episode out.
