Outdated References

This week, I want to say a big howdy to our newest member, Coral as we have round table discussion about Disney's newest live action remake, Mulan. Love it or hate it, many valid points were brought up and I'm super proud of this episode, even though it was plagued with technical issues. Yeah, this is why it took so long to edit. Sorry y'all. Any ways, Star Trek Lower Deck talks have been placed on stand by for next episode and we discuss why Colm Meany should have been the father as Miles O'Brien and Rosalind Choa as Keiko in the Outdated References holodeck production of "Molly."  Come On you know you want to see that! --Nathan  

This week we talk about the sad passing of Chadwick Boseman’s and eventually we get on track and talk about Star Trek Lower Deck episode 3, Temporal Edict and episode 4, Moist Vessel. This week, it's a three man show with Russ, Adam and myself, Nathan, chatting about the justification of expensive Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) retro home consoles, Adam and I argue over which console (SNES or PS1) sound reigns supreme,, World or Warcraft is freaking old, we also learned that none of us have ever heard the album version of Dire Straights "Money For Nothing," and we talk our thoughts about the new CBS show, "Star Trek: Lower Decks." --Nathan

We discuss a question about which boxer would win if both of them were at their prime? More Doom Patrol Spoiler talk, plus Watchman opinions and Stargirl fanboying. Also, I'm personally enjoying Adam's journey of catching up with Community.  --Nathan

This week we are grumpy old gamers who talk about the joys of CRT televisions and to the rest of our friends, sorry not sorry, I’m wearing a mask around you. We are still proselytizing “Doom Patrol” to anyone who still hasn’t been watching this fun show! Then we proceed to convince each other what new shows we need to watch, so a lot of tv talk this week, and turkeys talk, toy collecting, and a bonus extended chat at the end of this week’s episode. This week we just complain about everything! Covid-19 still sucks, but at least we chatted about video games, martial arts, and some general DC TV Love. It's a short and sweet episode this week.  Check us out!   --Nathan     

This week Russ, Adam, and I (Nathan) chatted on about 80-90s G.I. Joes toys and which Cobra Viper is our favorite, then we end up talking about more television, which lead to us chatting about some of our favorite Star Trek Deep Space Nine episodes, that lead to us reminiscing about the Star Trek Experience. We also caught up on gaming news after taking June off. We touch on about the Xbox Series X, PS5 and if backwards compatibility makes sense. Does life like graphics makes sense anymore? Also the Nintendo Switch controllers are still trash. Also, more television talk! God, I love Schitt’s Creek. And Doom Patrol… And Hamilton… --Nathan  

New Episode! Well sort. We recorded this episode back in June when society is slowly starting to open, mass protests, and television. This week it's a two man show with Russ and Nathan. We chat about loss, Russ' love of "Overwatch," Nathan's Arcade Monitor, and then television like "What We Do in the Shadows," "Venture Brothers" and "Rick and Morty." So yeah, it's another hodgepodge show about nerd shit. Sweet.  --Nathan 

We caught up on TV so this week we actually talked about video gaming, mainly Nintendo gaming. Adam finally got around to playing some Breath of the Wild and we discuss some outdated topics like a new Paper Mario and 3D Super Mario releases.  --Nathan

This week, we have a shorter episode and we just jumped right into the main topic: Star Wars The Clone Wars: Season 7 Episode 10 The Phantom Apprentice. Oh boy, that was an episode!!! We have theories, we have hopes, and we are just excited that the series seems to be going out with a bang! Also, what would be the best weapon in a zombie apocalypse? I like our tangential discussion, okay? -Nathan

This week, Russ, Jules, Adam, and I did a long video game talk about everything from Mario Kart 8 to OverWatch. Socializing through gaming is the best way to deal with the dread of quarantine and helps keep you sane. When we get to the meat of the episode we all started to fanboy over Star Wars Clone Wars Episode 9, “Old Friends Not Forgotten.” (SQUEEEEE!!!) Eventually the discussion went into geeky direction about what is a Jedi. Was the Council right or wrong? Who was the personification of paragon? Who was corrupted by politics? Also, where does Darth Maul fit into Clone Wars, Rebel and Solo? Ah, my head is hurting.   --Nathan  

This week, Russ, Adam, and I are finally happy to see some forward momentum of the Star Wars Clone Wars plot-line and a general discussion about softcover vs hardcover and should you make bread?  I have no clue but we are all still under quarantine and we are all going a bit stir crazy.  Good thing you have this episode to keep diverted for a few hours.  --Nathan

  Greetings and Salutations,  This week, the gang talked about the usual, games we been playing & TV shows we've been a watchin'. We chat about Star Wars Clone Wars Episode 7 "Dangerous Debt" where I just wanted to pull my hair out because I don't care about the sisters, I want to see Mandalore. The show just didn't impress us so we went back to the finale of Star Trek Picard because Jules finally caught up. Then we go out on a Star Wars fueled tangents. So that was neat... --Nathan
