 It's November and there's already snow on the ground, at least where I live in Colorado.  The July 2022 episode of Frontiers carries on where last month's left off. The first half is a lovely journey through downtempo, organic, and melodic progressive, followed by a shot of adrenaline in the second half for some good dancing rhythms.This was such a fun mix to record.  June 2021's episode of Frontiers marked a paradigm shift in how I approach these mixes, and it feels like June 2022 is another one. The transitions are cleaner, the flow is better, and it's something in which you can get absolutely lost when you're listening to it.  Happy new year! We've made it to 2022, and with the new year comes a new episode of Frontiers. I have some big plans for the year, and first and foremost is...this mix! My aim going forward is to make a new, original downtempo intro song for every future Frontiers episode, starting with this one.  Sometimes doing Frontiers is a labor of love, and this episode really made me work for it...but it was definitely worth it.   I love when a mix comes together like this. Sometimes putting together these Frontier mixes is a real struggle in finding tracks that mesh well together. Every now and then, though, I get really lucky, and it feels like it flows right out with hardly any effort required.  Happy American Independence Day!  There's some absolutely sublime progressive tracks in this mix, and in my opinion some of the best transitions I've pulled off.
