Season 5 Episode 29 - The Florida Panturds
30/03/2022 Duración: 01h06minWe have the whole crew together with a recap of the past week! Mostly losing, however, the Habs did manage yet another win against the dauntless Maple Leafs. As one does. However, Dave goes on the rant on the most recent game against the Florida Panthers for, well, reasons. There's some talk about the Habs honoring indiginous nations with some beautiful sweaters, a long pondered player finally signing, and it's all concluded with the slap heard around the world!

Season 5 Episode 28 - Shaping the Future
22/03/2022 Duración: 01h11minDave and Veronica do their best on tonight's episode, summing up the Habs moves leading up to and on trade deadline day, and also following a spirited bout against the Bruins! Suffice it to say, the roster looks very different from the team that reached the Stanley Cup Finals, and there WILL be more changes in the off season. Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton are making their own team, and that was evident as Ben Chiarot and Artturi Lehkonen were dealt, among others! Spend some time with us to catch up on this, and the past week of Habs news!

Season 5 Episode 27 - The Comeback Kids
15/03/2022 Duración: 01h05minSome exciting games in the past week that show how much different this Habs team is now compared to what was going on in the beginning of the season! Before, it seemed as if all hope was lost if the Habs were scored on first, and the game completely out of reach if they went down by two. But, now? You can expect the group to keep playing until the very end. Just ask Rem Pitlick!

Season 5 Episode 26 - Grey's Papaya
08/03/2022 Duración: 01h08minThe MSL continues to hold as the Habs deliver a pretty normal week! Going 2-1 in the past 3 games with a weird tilt against Winnipeg followed by riveting come backs against Calgary and Edmonton. We cover the games, some new staff, another set of unfortunate injuries, and the general gossip around the NHL in this episode of the Habby Hour!
-
Season 5 Episode 25 - Hamburglette
01/03/2022 Duración: 01h07minIn a RARE episode of the Habby Hour where there is hardly ANY bad Habs news! Les gars are on a 5 game win streak for the first time since 2017 (or so) and show no signs of slowing down. Aside from the wins and the hiring of a new assistant general manager, there is not a ton to talk about. So, naturally our hosts cover everything from Kanye to Ukraine in tonight's episode!
-
Season 5 Episode 24 - Saint Louis
22/02/2022 Duración: 01h09minIt started rocky, but the Habs are flying now! Martin St-Louis' concept hockey seems to be clicking for the club since they are finally looking like they are playing coherant hockey. Two wins in extra time led to a routing of the vaunted Toronto Maple Leafs with all of the right gears churning. We have the full crew on for this (actually) happy episode of the Habby Hour!
-
Season 5 Episode 23 - Valentine's Day Massacre
15/02/2022 Duración: 01h04minIn a season where the news has been a lot of the same, this past week had a lot for the crew to chew through! Veronica was unavailable but Dave and Beth dive into a coaching change, a new goalie, and most currently the trade of Tyler Toffoli. That news seems to be the biggest shock, despite the fact that a hall of fame legend in Martin St-Louis is now the bench boss for the Habs, and the Hamburgler himself is now a netminder!
-
Season 5 Episode 22 - All Star Suzuki
08/02/2022 Duración: 01h05minWith the Habs on their bye week the previous week there were no games to speak of! So, the Habby Hour crew put some emphasis on Suzuki's role in the NHL All Star weekend, some minor updates to the Habs roster for the games coming up this week, and of course, all of the fun that the very nice folks in Ottawa are having at the expense of the cities citizens!
-
Season 5 Episode 21 - Just Truckkking Along
01/02/2022 Duración: 01h11minThe Habs won only 1 game in the month of January. Which actually matches the amount of games that they won in December, too! Further to that point, the Habs have won 8 games total, and they are now half way through the season. There is little good to report, be it with the Habs, or even in Canada. The crew do what they can with what they got!
-
Season 5 Episode 20 - Hughes News
26/01/2022 Duración: 01h07minIt has finally happened, the start of a new era began last week with the hiring of Kent Hughes as General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens! Unfortunately, this only resulted in limited success on the ice as the Habs went 1-1-2, with yesterday's game against the Wild exclamating a poor performance even in the midst of a poor season.
-
Season 5 Episode 19 - Officially Awful
18/01/2022 Duración: 01h16minThe Habs, well, still are not good! But, some regular members of the roster returned to the ice today as the Habs try to get themselves back to an NHL standard of play. Unfortunately, some bad news injury wise, coupled with curious officiating, is making an already tough season all the more frustrating.
-
Season 5 Episode 18 - Pantyhose
11/01/2022 Duración: 01h09minWith a lack of play on the ice due to COVID postponements the gang looked to news off the ice, and it was substantial! Chantal Machabee takes over Paul Wilson's post as Vice President of Communication in the Habs organization to critical acclaim! Of course, there were other things to talk about, especially regarding a recent draft pick. All that and more in this week's Habby Hour!
-
Season 5 Episode 17 - Twenty Twenty Ew
04/01/2022 Duración: 01h04minThe whole crew is back for the first episode of the new year! Unfortunately, the past week was yet another let down as the Habs struggled to even ice a team due to a number (16!!!) of players going under COVID protocol. We also saw the cancellation of the World Junior Championship and, well, what one can only call a series of opinions as Angela Price decided to do a QnA and someone DARED to ask her about vaccinations! With that in mind... Get vaccinated, maintain social distance, and mask up. Happy New Year!
-
Season 5 Episode 16 - A Habby Half Hour!
28/12/2021 Duración: 30minIn this peculiar episode Dave takes on the past two weeks of Habs news the best way that he knows how. Alone! Both Beth and Veronica have been unavailable the past two weeks, and instead of having another week without an upload, Dave decided to do a recap. This is the last episode of 2021, and despite the Habs' woes we wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
-
Season 5 Episode 15 - Between the Ears
14/12/2021 Duración: 01h06minThe Habs woes continue, where they have yet to record a win in regulation so far this month. The feel from the players is that the season is lost, and many are looking to what next season holds. A bright spot in the past week, despite the result, was the effort against Tampa. Yet, a lack luster performance later against the Blues leave many of us wondering just what we'll see this coming week.
-
Season 5 Episode 14 - Injured
07/12/2021 Duración: 01h05minJeff Gorton speaks to the press, and the Habs' haphazard season continues, but now add injuries! Yes. More of them. There's some Habs talk, and then a bit of Sopranos and what exactly weebs are in this week's episode.
-
Season 5 Episode 13 - The End of an Era
30/11/2021 Duración: 01h06minThe Habs drop yet another game, but the story of the week isn't the Habs record, but the movement in the front office. Marc Bergevin, Trevor Timmins, and Paul Wilson have all been relieved of their duties. Jeff Gorton assumes the role of Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations, and we assume that there are more changes to come!
-
Season 5 Episode 12 - Predation
23/11/2021 Duración: 01h03minThree games in the past week which included a close one, and two blowouts that went in either direction! The Habs managed their 5th win over the weekend in what is looking to be a very long season. Caufield returned to the lineup, Poehling shined, Primeau had his first start of the season, and Montembeault his first win! There may be some help on the horizon for the Habs as well, since Byron and Edmundson are getting closer to returning to the lineup. Honestly, perhaps there is more good news than bad this week. The second half of the podcast has Dave and Veronica talking about series and movies they've been watching.
-
Season 5 Episode 11 - Green Bowls
16/11/2021 Duración: 01h04minAnother week, another near disaster for the Habs. Despite earning 4 points in 4 games, the continued awful play of the team is costing them bodies as now Jake Allen is injured, leaving the goalie tandem to Sam Montembeault and Cayden Primeau. To highlight the bad, Jeff Petry may need some talking to. To highlight the good, Nick Suzuki is leading the team in points. With all of that, the first half of the episode has Dave recounting his trip to Bowling Green and all of the fun that getting back was! And as always, an ending word to Alex Jones.

Season 5 Episode 10 - November 8, 2021 - A Habs Update
09/11/2021 Duración: 01h07minThere is not a whole lot that can be said about the state of the Habs that has not already been said. Listless efforts, momentum from wins not carrying over, injuries, suspect lines, silence from Bergevin, silence from Molson. There have certainly been better days for the franchise. Despite this, we talk about what news is going on currently, and then Dave talked about a bunch of new movies.
