  • 169 - IRONMAN© Chattanooga - Adam Feigh Professional Triathlete

    27/10/2018 Duración: 01h18min

In this episode of the Pursuit of the Perfect Race, I talk with my friend and professional triathlete Adam Feigh. Adam and his loving wife recently had their first child together earlier this year. This adds to the complication of their life, work, training balance and we discuss how he does this with his family. Adam is being coached by Jesse Vondracek from Top Step Training. One of the trends we also talk about is how all athletes regardless of ability need to have a “Plan B” for their nutrition. When something happens that isn’t planned for, things will happen that can deteriorate your race. Even though there wasn’t a swim at this course, the course is still more than the 140.6 mile distance due to the additional four miles on the bike. Thanks Adam for coming on the show, I enjoyed talking with you and look forward to following you in the future!-Enjoy the show. As a Registered Dietitian himself, he still says he doesn’t have a solid nutrition plan. But we discuss on this episode how to factor in heat, humidity and even cold weather preparations. Good Luck in Daytona Matt, I enjoyed having you back on and hearing your story and allowing you to share your excitement in getting your slot for Kona in 2019!-Enjoy the show. Something I learned about Bruno during this interview was that he is a Vegetarian out of choice. Some of his key workouts include hill repeats. Good luck at Boston next year Bruno, it was a pleasure having you back on the show!-Enjoy the show. His recent weekend at IRONMAN© Maryland & IRONMAN© Chattanooga was nuts! Just nuts!
