We Got Nothin'

A long time ago we had a friend Whitney that decided to leave us for reasons. She fled the country only to be heard from in postcards and occasional facebook posts. We didn't know if we would ever see her again. Well, guess what... She's BAAAAAAACK. She's vowed to never leave us again and is here to tell her tale. Once we cover that stuff, we then discuss some "Mandy" news. There have been more dates and stuff is getting real! ...Oh and Whitney is leaving us again.

Joe spills the deets on his girlfriend. Lance thinks fake names are for dweebs. We learn a few Back to the Future facts that are relevant to our interests. Lance lets us hear one of his current favorite R.E.M. tracks. Also, cat litter on a fan?

Kickin' things off with how Joe's dad has been fooling his mom for years. We watched the Celebrity Roast of Bruce Willis. Talkin' about that for a bit. Couldn't they drop the "Celebrity" part of the title. I feel like we know. Joe gets some Go-Go's in his ears for the first time. Then he tells us about his possible girlfriend. THINGS ARE HAPPENING, PEOPLE!!! After that, Joe gives us some disturbing facts about gross things. Thanks.

You know what makes great podcasting? Practicing blowing rings with cigar smoke. Also, discussing Joe's RAGBRAI experience, Hamilton and how they are making ALL of the money, Joe's love life, and the B-52's. I think maybe we talked about tornados too. Why not?

Back at it. Trying to find time for this stuff is rough. We recap how Joe eats Kit-Kats wrong. We discuss the new Robin Williams Documentary on HBO. Then there are some wedding stories. We know you love wedding stories. Just when you think it's all wrapped up in a pretty little bow, Joe brings out the white grapes. 

Jamie is back! We talk about a bunch of stuff but nothing as important as Joe's opinions on how to eat Kit-Kats. 

We took the show on the road! Well... kinda. We went to Village Inn and brought our mics with. Lot's of Billy Joel talk and some other random stuff. 

Our friend Melissa joins us in the studio for a few hours. Also, there was wine. This is the beginning of our time together. We discuss her latest role in her acting career, Mary Poppins. We also talk a bit about the movie, how we got started in the theatre, how weird accents are, Jim Carrey, and Friends. Just the beginning people. This was the least amount of wine consumed that night. ...Think about that.

This episode continues with our conversation from the previous episode. So we talk a bit about movie props. Then, with the mention of a movie poster that had the twin towers, we then go into the happenings of that day. I mean... Why not?
