Sinopsis
Nicola Angliatti is more than 800 years old, and few things surprise him any more. But on a trip to America, he discovers a lost little girl in the forest. Before he can return Evangeline to her camp, silver burns through him. The girl was bait, used unknowingly by her father to trap a vampire. The Hand of God, a fanatical religious group, uses Nicola to develop a serum that will turn vampires mortal. Years later, the girl, now grown, discovers Nicola near death, confirming what shes suspected for years. Her father is an evil, sick man. The attraction between them is instant and inexplicable. Evangeline must free Nicola, and herself, if she has any hope of surviving and discovering the secrets in her blood.
