An episode from the archive. The original piece, l'Alph art (1987), was a improvisation done with one monophonic analogue synthesizer (a Korg Sigma) and originally released on a compact cassette-album called Unique (1988) .This recording is one of two digitally reworked versions dating from 2008.

This drone is made for one of my projects; The Freazzp society. The Freazzp society is collective making jazz with some rap, rock and electronics. This drone is made for my colleques as a basis for improvising.But I think it's kind of nice and very 'Einzelganger-like' on its own merits.Enjoy.

Recorded on April 29th 2016 during a huiskamerconcert (living room concert) organized and hosted by Radboud Mens in Rotterdam. I really enjoyed that evening.

I made Chion-in because I got inspired by the recordings made by Ollie Hall (visit his site at http://www.binauraldiaries.co.uk/) in the Chion-in temple in Kyoto, Japan. I asked him if he objected to me using his recordings. Luckily he thought it was an great idea. So here it is. And we both like it.

Oxymoron was produced using my very first keyboard that I bought somewhere around 1980. Switching it on again after decades provided me with some great noises and glitches. The voice was taken from an audio captcha. I like the atmosphere.

A phosphene is an entoptic phenomenon characterized by the experience of seeing light without light actually entering the eye.

Saudade is an improvise drone.Saudade is a Portuguese word which describes a deep emotional state of nostalgic longing for something that one was fond of and which is lost. It often carries a fatalist tone and a repressed knowledge that the object of longing might really never return.

I produced a lot of audio sketches, odd tracks and other bits and pieces. On their own they're just lonely ideas, but some are worth putting together. A few pages from my audio sketchbook so to speak. So here's the second collection. It was previously released on my MixCloud page.
