With no Eurovision in 2020 it seemingly was a bleak time for all Eurovision fans and podcasts alike. But do you think that is going to stop us from doing at least one episode? Absolutely not! Ben is joined by Jarrod and Alex to discuss all things related to the cancelled Eurovision Song Contest for 2020, including just what they all thought of the songs, why Australia may have dodged a bullet in not having their song compete this year, just why it was weird watching a Zoom call for two hours and why we are still salty that Lithuania didn’t enter a song about having basketball players in the contest. You’ll be singing away and counting down the days until we can talk about the contest proper again in 2021, so get to listening!

Well, we made a promise that we would cover Junior Eurovision this year and guess what? We keep our promises! But is it a promise that we are going to regret? Ben and Jarrod try and work out what on earth they just watched and also try to work out if there were actually any different songs this year. They also try and figure out if Australia should’ve even bothered, what on earth France were singing about, whether or not Portugal could afford to be there and why on earth anybody would want to visit Poland after watching this. It’s that sad moment where we have to close out another Eurovision for another year as we go over everything that happened in the 2019 final and give our thoughts overall on how the greatest song competition in the world went this year. Are we all satisfied with the Netherlands finally breaking their drought and winning? Was Australia robbed or did they finish where they should’ve? What was the deal with North Macedonia getting so many votes? Were the hosts tolerable or did we just want them to shut up? What on earth happened with Madonna?
