Back by unpopular demand, the Manx Football Podcast returns for the 2025-26 season, bringing clueless punditry, a concerning lack of insight into the beautiful game and less Marown bias than ever before. Join Andy, Dave and Tom as they bring you up to speed on the fledgling football season and look ahead to this weekend's fixtures around the island. On this week's Manx Footy Pod, Andy, Tom and Dave chat about 'Canadians', celebrating cult heroes from the Canada Life Premier League in years gone by. The lads also preview this weekend's fixtures, discuss FC Isle of Man's most recent win and the unfortunate news that Luke Murray has had to step back from playing for the Ravens for health reasons. There's also the usual ramblings from Combi Corner and Dave Reads the Weather. 

On this week's Manx Footy Pod, Tom chats to former Peel AFC youngster Freddie O'Donoghue after he made his debut for Carlisle United against Nottingham Forest recently. The team look ahead to all of this weekend's Canada Life Premier League and Ardern & (Kevin) Druggan Division Two fixtures, as well as the new Canada Life Women's League season which kicks off on Sunday. The Manx Footy Pod returns for the 2024-25 season with a Football Writers' Awards special after the ceremony took place at Peel AFC earlier this week. Lee Gale and Nick Hurt react to their Player and Manager of the Year accolades, while Galer gives the lowdown on his move to boyhood club Foxdale. Plus Andy, Tom and Dave deliver their usual amateur ramblings about the new season, previewing all of this weekend's games from the salubrious surroundings of Andy's car!

It's a podcast with a difference this week as Manx Footy Pod talks all things women's football ahead of International Women's Day next week which coincides with a new Isle of Man FA campaign being launched. Joining Tom and Dave at the Bowl are Peel's Becky Corkish, referee Janeann Doyle and IoMFA interim CEO Lewis Qualtrough.

We're walking in the Ayre this week as the Tangerines' assistant boss Nick White returns to the pod after a mere four years.  As well as giving us an insight into life coaching with Nick Hurt, he picks his all-time five-a-side, why golf isn't won until it's won and looks ahead to this weekend's potentially title-deciding game away at Peel.  Plus Dave, Tom and Sam consider which biscuit best represents which club, go wildly off-topic by discussing a vote for a ceasefire in Gaza and look ahead to another week of Manx footballing action.  As if that wasn't enough, we look back to the Battle of the Somme as DAFC beat Colby Combi, consider Dan Hattersley joining the Ravens and as ever, Dave runs down the clock in Combi Corner and gives us the all-important weather forecast. 

Sam, Tom and Dave are joined by Michael United's Bailey Ashton and Frazer Campbell for this week's show as we discuss all things Aces.  After forcing the lads to relive a painful result, we chat about the club bouncing back from a difficult couple of seasons, why the club is prime for a documentary series and  Plus we consider who would win a wrestling match between Dave Mathieson and Ruairi Poole, discuss Bury FC's visit to the island and Tom gets real about the lack of biscuits.  Plus we look ahead to this week's football, run down the clock in Combi Corner and Dave Reads the Weather. 

With Adam still in mourning over Jurgen Klopp's announcement, it's left to Andy, Dave, Tom and Sam to mull over this week's FA Cup and Woods Cup action.  As well as previewing the cup games, they look ahead to Division Two action and consider when is a first round not a first round, Soccer Saturday's role in encouraging binge drinking, whether Manx teams could enter a Champions League and the impending arrival of Pascal Chimbonda to Manx shores.  Don't forget to keep up on this weekend's action by following @manxfootpod or @geffootyiom 

Andy, Tom and Sam return with the first podcast of the year for a look ahead to another week of the world's most exciting football leagues and cups.  With the Woods Cup, Premier League, Division Two and NWCFL Premier Division games to preview, it's a busy week for the three who also consider what sort of structure we could provide for Dave during the winter months, why we have preliminary rounds instead of just going straight into round one and thank Tom's gran for buying us a new mic.
