The Growth Factor Raven 425 Style The Growth Factor Raven 425 Style, this episode is all about the 'where you came from to where you are going' moments and how as business people and entrepreneurs we need to silence out all the negative happening in the world at the moment and concentrate on what it is we are here to do, focus on your/our mission and that is it. My favourite memory of the summer of 2024 season My favourite memory of the summer of 2024 season, this was the latest question asked to us at the Raven 425 Rise Above aka United by Stoke podcast. Let me tell you this one made me think, and as I took my time remembering all the ups the downs, the good the bad, the sad the happy, the amazing people who stopped by and all the new friends and family we made that season...well it brought massive smiles to my face, so thank you very much for this question. It brought up so many situations and memories, but one in particular stood out that I think is the foundation of what the Raven 425 Rise Above mentality and movement is all about. Come in as Friends, leave as family Raven 425 Style A question about a new tag line that has been very close to my heart, which I was pretty happy that someone asked about and noticed. It's a fact that the core crew that supports this brand and movement are much more than just people who stop in for a quick cuppa. The truth is that The Raven 425 Rise Above is actually a hang out spot where people come to meet link minded people and talk, rarely do I ever see people on phones or computers, unless they are actually working. There is something a lot of us call the Raven 425 time warp, because you come in for a quick coffee pick up but don' t end up leaving the Shack for like 2 plus hours...that is what we are talking about! Such an epic community, movement, thing or whatever that we have all built together, I personally am forever thankful for all the family I have met and will continue to meet at the Shack.   In this episode I speak about "the balance", which to be honest I was very out of balance from the grind of running a new brand/company for the first 4 years to get it off the ground. I would not change a thing because all the ups and downs can teach us if we are there to see what we are trying to be taught! In the current unique times we are in, myself personally as an entrepreneur and business /brand owner I think there are many things that we will all need to keep our vision on point, but 2 of the main values I feel that will help us all out is the "balance" the right amount of rest/fun and the right amount of hustle/hard work. There has never been a time like this to be in business and this brings massive opportunities and struggles, so no matter what there will be the ups and the downs...its just all about how we react to them and how prepared we actually are for those events . Only at The Beach Shack, in this episode we talk about what it is to be at the Shack what our place has turned into and the why behind our all inclusive vibes. It was not planned but what happened to this spot is kinda magical as the community took the place and ran with it. On the daily we see old /young, new comers and old faithfuls come together, just chill chat and leave as new family. Rarely do we see people on their phones, as almost all the time its human to human chatting or families all playing together on the lot...so cool and we love it! United By Stoke 3 Business Tips For 2022   So it is the New Year, 2022, it is another day, it is a new day, and that means time to make it happen in 2022! So we have for you 3 business tips from us the Raven Boys which we are either implementing or will continue to implement in 2022.   So coming in at #1 is NO Fear. If the one thing this last 2 years has taught us is; we can not get back time. For myself and for Shane we both look at it and will continue to look at it (and to some point base decisions off this) we are not promised tomorrow, and what if today was our last day.   This gets us out of our comfort zone and leads us to NO Fear for the future, we trust in the process! BTW that is not at all easy and it's something that must be done over and over again to make it an easier process.   The #2 Tip will be to Find Our People, again with no time to waste or not time to mess around with, why be around people who either don't get us, don't understand us, don't believe in us, bring us down, and so on

United By Stoke It's all about You!   The last few weeks have just been crazy for us here at Raven 425 Apparel, but you know that crazy in a good way. Shane and myself have been at it for the spring line up for 2022, an expansion of our flagship store in the interior of BC, Canada and finally knocking on doors to get into more stores out there....However those are other episodes Shane and I are recording, today it is all about you.   Why do we say that?   A very simple answer as we were about to leave on a super quick 3 day trip where we had meetings set up out the whaazoo there were snow fall warnings, the roads were crap, we were tired, you know all that cry baby crap...it came to us.   We did not actually have an answer, we for sure could have just pulled the plug but we both looked at each other and just trusted that something bigger was at play. United By Stoke Building Your T Shirt Branding Step By Step   So another episode and Shane is in the Building, and we are talking about the road taken from Step 1 of "hey I want to print a T-shirt" to ok I sold all those T-shirts and I want to re print, and so on and so forth. From 1 shirt to 10 shirts to 100 shirts then adding to your brand as each level you hit in your company.   What does it take? How does it work? What is the first step, how do you grow it, how do you sell it?   These are all questions we get from people wanting to know our process and these are all the question we have come across as we grow each step of this brand. Veterans Day 2021 Hit Us Different   As We grew up in School we always had the Remembrance day events, the moment of Silence and we always had Vets themselves come to the school to be part of this day. As a kid it was what it was and we showed our respects. As we all grow up and hit University or go to jobs we try to have the moment of silence at 11:11 and still show our respects.   As a brand that lives and breaths Cross-fit we all in this community know that we show up and represent for the Fire Department, Police, the Military and our Vets. We always rock what we call HERO WODS. It's a big part of the lifestyle and the mentality of this community. He have however noticed the last few years that a lot of places now close on this day, the day we are needed most to show up and represent and pay or dues and respect.   For us here at RAVEN we felt this urge to stand up even harder for the soldiers and the Vets to show our respect, and this year it got very emotional for us during our HERO WOD. Cultivating Community 2, Am I Magnesium Deficient?   In this episode we go over some of the major changes I have personally experienced since adding magnesium into my daily go to vitamins for health. I have about 5 major go to's over the last 2 years and adding this super nutrient has been major! So for me I noticed (as we upped our workouts to the next level, and took our fight training to the next level) that muscle soreness was nothing like it use to be. Cultivating Community 1 "United By Stoke"  Guys it has been a hot hot minute, we got caught up in a few new endeavours which took us away from the United By Stoke Podcast. However we are back, we are all caught up and Shane and Myself are working overtime to commit to this community.  Where were we you ask....well we opened up our own stores, we added 2 new lines to our brand (and yes it is just the 2 of us working it all) so we have been swamped to say the least, but in an amazing way!!
