Over the last 12 months of Season 5, I have highlighted various technologies and innovations. I have shared my stories of owning and using these technologies, innovation or gadgets. Our human endeavors and advancements are now simpler, better or easier. In today’s podcast, I’ll provide the audience a round robin of these adventures from self-driving vehicles, to the exploration of new model cars and motorcycles, to the excitement of underwater and space environments. We have chatted how different 2020 would be on space exploration. But now 8 months later, we have begun to secure our next generation of space exploration targets. For me it is exciting and challenging as the US begun to launch astronauts back into space since 2011. Just as important are the planned space activities for the United States; or even the other nations of the world? How will the US and world space communities continue to respond to 2020 space challenges and beyond? In our show today, I will discuss one of my bucket list items—scuba diving. How do you get qualify for open water diving? I will discuss why I wanted to go scuba diving, what happen during my dives and the technology used today vs what I thought the technology was. In fact, scuba diving equipment has advanced quite a bit and I had no idea. I will also discuss the science, engineering, or more importantly the various products used in my initial dives to get qualified. Yes, I did it and you can too. It has been debated in the last few years that we need to enhance the US commitment to the development of Nuclear Power. At T3 we have devoted several podcasts on nuclear power both in the US and internationally. Concerns have been the safety of new reactors, costs, and the actual process to recycle nuclear waste. Today, we have two guests who are experts in advancement of nuclear energy. Our first guest is Mr. Ed Pheil, Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder Elysium Industry in the US and Canada. Additionally, our second guest is Mr. Steve Curtis a nuclear energy expert with over 30 years. Today, we will explore the advantages and disadvantages of Gen IV reactors and specifically discuss the development and installment of molten chloride salt fast reactor as a major source of nuclear energy. As we all hang out at home due to COVID-19 stay at home policy, technology development continues to expand. We have all heard about the information technology companies growth these past few months. Additionally, as I look into leisure activities, I can say that technology development continues to advance as more products and gadgets are placed on the market. I am amazed at the various business or leisure company products that have been launched in 2020. Therefore, it’s time to discuss these technology advancements a little deeper and share my experiences. I met Mr. William “Bill” Hitchcock at the 2004 DARPA Grand Challenge for Autonomous Vehicles. Bill was one of the 150+ volunteers that paid his own way to help kick start over a generation of self-driving cars. Over the years, we have stayed in touched about the technology opportunities we have shared over the years. Today, I have asked Bill to chat about his tech consulting business opportunities.
