    With the sad news of the passing of Children of Bodom lead guitarist frontman Alexi Laiho and Eddie Van Halen back in 2020 we pay tribute to both these amazing guitarists and discuss their legacy. We also chat about other musicians who have passed away and what impact they had on us.  We also chat about the big Gibson acquistion of Mesa Boogie, and what this might mean for both companies and Mesa amps.     It's the big one! The one with the theme tune! Yes episode 6 is here and you might just hear our shiny new theme tune (still not fully finished). We discuss all the goings on and latest releases at Summer NAMM. Mark gets annoyed about some guitar cables (these aren't just any cables though). Vish talks about the Slate ML-2 mic. Plus the Avantone CLA-10 speakers, the world cup horn suppressor (yes it's a real thing!), and so much more! We talk through the process of making the theme tune and recording the theme tune and what on earth we were thinking. While we're at it we give a mini review to the Waves PRS supermodel amps, which we used extensively. We finish up on what we've been listening to.
