  • EPISODE 141 "MOM AND DAD AINT ALWAYS RIGHT"

    14/01/2011 Duración: 02h04min

Most people you meet, especially black people, for the most part love and respect their parents. I mean you rarely see a black person all out disrespect or not communicate with their parents, ESPECIALLY their MOMMA. But just like almost everything in life the pertains to the behavior of PEOPLE, there are plenty of exceptions. Sometimes you will in fact meet a person that has absolutely NO relationship with their parents. Even if they do it's very limited and not a good one. Since I love my parents, even my Natural father who I wasn't around much growing up, I often wonder WHY the persons relationship with their parents is so strained. I mean even when my momma made me mad, we disagreed, hell my parents even put my out the house at a young age (which was my fault) but somehow we still mended those strains and we still love each other and communicate. For someone to go YEARS or even MONTHS without SPEAKING much less SEEING the person who is responsible for them even being alive, well SOMETHING went very wrong.

  • EPISODE 140 "YOU'LL BE AIGHT"

    13/01/2011 Duración: 03h00s

I recently been going through a life situation that made me realize there are a lot of things that I thought I HAD to have, that I really didn't. When you have no choice but to do without a luxury, however small or large it may be, you either keep on going without it, or if you are week then you break down like it's the end of the damn world. Now I know that no one WANTS to go without the things they like and have now, and we all want to gain more. But life is a b**** and then you die. So nothing is GUARANTEED except DEATH. So if it isn't FOOD, CLOTHES (and that dont mean the name brands) and Shelter then it's a good chance you can live without it! But there are some of us who are addicted to trivial things like gadgets, or even worse DRUGS (including alcohol and tobacco) and we feel like we can't live without them. Well I'm here to tell you from first hand experience that you CAN. You'll Be Aight if you cant go to the club every week. You'll Be Aight if you can hit the mall and get a new outfit. You'll be Ai

  • EPISODE 139 "MORE IS ALWAYS BETTER"

    12/01/2011 Duración: 03h00s

GROUP SEX! Now that I have your attention that pretty much sums up the topic of this episode. There are always gonna be people who are freaky and free enough for group sex to be around. Even back in the very old days it was around. Actually it was a lot more common back then, especially if you were rich. It was standard to have orgies, threesomes, or whatever. Nowadays it has gone more underground, but TRUST me it still GOES DOWN. Some people see it as an EXTREME form of sex and they wouldn't do it. Some may try it once just to see what it's about and may not like it. And some will LOVE it and engage in it every chance they get. But it is still acceptable to most who are not in Church three times a week, and even some of them may be down with it. To me it's something that you just have to EXPERIENCE in order to say whether or not its whats up. You really cant really compare the sex between just TWO people to that of sex with THREE or MORE. Its simply not fair to expect it to be the same or as much fun. The nu

  • EPISODE 138 "ONLINE: A STORY I LOVE AND ONE I HATE"

    11/01/2011 Duración: 03h00s

There were two internet stories that I saw last week that got a lot of attention in my circle. One of those stories pissed me off GREATLY, and one of them was really refreshing. First of here are the links to the stories so you can actually see them: story one "THE PRINCESS BOY" here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DnbjtXDlv0 The other is a lot shorter and the EXACT opposite, the uncle checking his nephew about acting like a gnagbanger on the internet, here is that link: http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhBtdQvDJLQy55M05q Please if possible look at both of these stories first since we will be discussing them. Now right off the top I will tell you I think the PRINCESS BOY story is HORRIFIC! And I think the Story of the Uncle is GREAT. Depending on how you view discipline when it comes to kids and parenting in general you will agree with me or not. But based on these two stories here are my questions: 1) DO YOU THINK THAT THE PARENT IN THE PRINCESS BOY STORY ARE GOOD PARENTS? 2

  • EPISODE 137 "STAND FOR SOMETHING"

    07/01/2011 Duración: 02h01min

A lot of people complain and are not happy with MANY aspects of life. There are some of us who can see something they don't like and deal with it as long as it doesn't DIRECTLY effect us. Then there are those of us that can see something that is wrong, and SCREAM OUT LOUD that it is wrong, and THEN try to FIX IT. I think most of us would say that we stand for something, but I don't believe that most of us actually are ADVOCATES of that which we say we stand for. Some people view having morals as standing for something, but that is not the same thing. When I ask "WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR" you should be able to produce something more than just WORDS to prove it. I am an ADVOCATE of free speech and entrepreneurship. Also I am and Advocate of HIP HOP music and culture, and issues that effect the black community. ALL OF THESE THINGS that I stand for I can show you proof positive that I am a passionate advocate of. The saying STAND FOR SOMETHING OR FALL FOR ANYTHING derived from people who stood up to oppression and i

  • EPISODE 136 "IT AINT EASY BEING ME"

    06/01/2011 Duración: 02h54min

My life is hectic, crazy, dramatic, fun, interesting, restless and more. That could all be in one damn day! Being me is a unique experience that only ONE person has the privilege to say they have experienced. This is the true for each and every person on the planet. Often times we look at OTHER peoples life and may think "it must be nice to be them" or "it must suck to be them". Hey its human nature, we are creatures of observation ya dig. But I have come to realize that for everything we see GOOD about the AVERAGE persons life, there is almost CERTAINLY something in it we wouldn't like to experience. So in short to think that it is easy being me, or even easy being a super start like Lebron James, or President Obama, or your boss at work, well you simply don't get how life works. Being you isn't anymore easy then being anyone else. From the outside looking in we can make an assumption, a guess at if being it someone else shoes would be better or easier, but you will NEVER really know. So here goes: 1) DO YOU

  • EPISODE 135 "CAPITAL PUNISHMENT"

    05/01/2011 Duración: 03h00s

The death penalty is a very controversial topic. Capital Punishment, whether it be THE CHAIR, THE GAS, THE NEEDLE, OR THE NOOSE has been around in this country since it was "created". Let me start by saying that I am in favor of it. Yes I am in favor of MURDERING people legally. Oh what, you don't think it's murder? Well maybe not by definition, since MURDER is described as "the UNLAWFUL taking of a persons life" and the LAW allows for Capital Punishment. But it is "killing intentionally and with premeditation" which is another definition of the word. See this is the PRIMARY issue with the death penalty: WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG? You can undo the punishment. If some new evidence comes to light after the fact, you cant fix it and let them go and compensate them. Death is a permanent punishment. So if you are in favor of it, you would have to assume EVERY death penalty case is 100% without flaw, and we KNOW that just isn't how it goes down. Our country has legalized murder and called it justice. Gotta love America

  • EPISODE 134 "THE ART OF LYING"

    04/01/2011 Duración: 02h57min

So no one likes a liar right? Well then you must in fact dislike yourself and everyone you ever met or will meet in life, because simply put WE ALL LIE. Oh I know some of you are gonna act like you don't. Prepare to be killed on K-100 tonight! See the question is never do we lie, the question is WHAT do we lie about! Let me break it down: if you cheat on your taxes (which included claiming deductions you don't deserve) you lied. If you ever called in to work sick but you really wasn't sick, you lied. if you ever gave someone a complement just to be nice, you lied. If you ever cheated on a test in school you lied. Small examples, but LIES none the less! So the real question is how good of a liar are you then, not whether or not you are one since we ALL are a liars. You get it? Okay for the slow mf's out here, just because you don't cheat on your spouse doesn't mean you are not a liar. Just because you don't make up stories about your life to look good, you still could bee a liar. Are we CLEAR now? So here goes

  • EPISODE 133 "RESOLUTIONS"

    31/12/2010 Duración: 02h07min

Well this is the last K-100 episode of the 2010 year and what better way to end it then to explore what the new year may bring. We all like to make big plans, we all seem to be a lil more ambitious, and we all have a lil bit more money (TAX SEASON BABY!) Often time we make New Years Resolutions that we plan on keeping but never do. Some people say they don't make them at all because it doesn't make any sense, or that you should have goals year round. But a New Year somehow can often seem like a fresh start, even if you are in the same position you were the previous year. Funny how that works out isnt it. I don't know what this year has planned for me. Last year, non of my plans had running an internet radio station in them. Yet here I am, so that is a testament in itself. With that being said here is what I want to know for the last episode of the year for K-100 radio: DO YOU MAKE NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS, AND IF SO DO YOU NORMALLY FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEM? WHAT IF ANY PLANS/ GOALS/ RESOLUTIONS WILL YOU GO FOR

  • EPISODE 132 "THIS DAY, THAT DAY, JUST A DAY"

    30/12/2010 Duración: 02h32min

So with the HoliDAYS here, two major ones down and one more to go, I thought I would do a show on all these dang DAYS! Right now we just got past the granddaddy DAY which was CHRISTMAS, the bug money kahuna ya dig. Before that we had the pigfest of THANKSGIVING, and coming up we have the universal excuse to get wasted DAY, NEW YEARS. But right behind it there will be another DAY, next up is MLK DAY, then VALENTINES DAY, and then some more DAYS that no one really cares about. So for this show I want to know how special are these DAYS to you or do you even care. Depending on your race, religious beliefs and where you are from some of these DAYS we have in America you could really care less about. Some of these DAYS are not not even celebrating what they where originally derived from. And some of these DAYS, depending on WHO you are, is the BEST DAY of every year. SO here goes my questions: WHAT SPECIAL DAYS OF THE YEAR TO YOU ACTUALLY FEEL ARE SPECIAL? EVEN IF YOU PARTICIPATE SPARINGLY, THEN YOU (ACKNOWLEDGE TH

  • EPISODE 131 "TOP TEN OF 2010"

    29/12/2010 Duración: 03h00s

Well the year is almost over and done with. I don't know about you, but it FLEW by yet again for me. I had a busy year and it was filled with ups and downs. As I reflect back on it, it seems like the whole world was on a roller coaster ride! So with that being said for this episode I will take a look at TIME magazines TOP 10 of 2010 for various categories and discuss them on the show. From the top news/political stories, sports stories, songs, movies, and entertainment new I will give you the list and see if you agree with TIMES assessment of the year 2010. Then I will ask you: WHAT WAS YOUR TOP MOMENT OF 2010? WHAT WAS THE WORSE THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN 2010? OVERALL WAS 2010 A GOOD OR BAD YEAR FOR YOU PERSONALLY? WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE SONG IN 2010? WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE IF YOU SAW ONE? WHAT WAS THE NEWS STORY THAT YOU REALLY FELT WAS THE BIGGEST STORY OF THE YEAR? DID YOU ACCOMPLISH ANY OF YOUR GOALS FOR 2010? ALL THIS AND MORE AS I REVIEW THE YEAR 2010 WITH MY K-100 PEEPS AND SEE HOW THE YEAR

  • EPISODE 130 "THE PEOPLE NEXT DOOOR"

    28/12/2010 Duración: 02h28min

There is something to be said about growing up in a small town. One of the GOOD things is knowing the people in your hood. Nowadays people don't really know the other people that are living right next to them. Either two doors down in an apartment, or 2 houses down in a subdivision, people just are not neighborly any more. Back in the day people would know everyone (and sometimes too much of they business) within a few miles of them. Even back in the day the big city people tended to know more about their neighbors. With all this information in this age being exchanged, it seems like we know more bout peoples business, but LESS about the actual people we live and interact with. Some of it has to do with MORE people in the country, and a faster pace of life. It could even be due the fact that the news cycle keeps broadcasting the worst in us 24 hours a day and people trust other people less and are more cautious. Be that as it may I'll bet even in a moderate sized town, MOST people do not KNOW or even INTERACT

  • EPISODE 129 "INKED UP: SHOW YA TATTOO!"

    23/12/2010 Duración: 02h40min

There used to be a time when tattoos were not so cool. Used to be only bikers, rocker, convicts or soldiers had them. Well obviously that is NOT the case anymore. It seems like EVERYBODY had a damn tattoo now. I don't care what color, sex, background, nationality or age. It is very common place to get tatted up. Before tattoos became popular with blacks (thanks PAC for that THUG LIFE tat...you made the women want us all to have one!) it really wasn't as main stream. Once hip hop artist started to show off their tats and rap about them, just like anything else we promote, it blows the hell up. Then BOOM another industry makes billions off what we say. Is what it is ya dig. I have ink too, but there are some people who have ink just to be cool. just to say that have one. Some people ink means something to them. I mean this shit is PERMANENT so you would THINK people would consider that when they get one. But sadly, this is not the case. Either the location or what the image is of a tattoo, there are so many thi

  • EPISODE 128 "BRING IT BACK (OR NOT)"

    22/12/2010 Duración: 03h00s

So I was out in the rat race in this ridiculous spending season walking through the mall, when I thought I was seeing things. I squinted my eyes and low and behold I saw this dude with a HIGH TOP FADE. Yeah you know the old Kid n Play cut. I laughed it off then 10 mins later I saw another dude with a GUMBY cut. Some things are better left in the past it's just that simple. It got me to thinking though, there was a lot of fads that I WOULD like to see come back though. Remember the African medallion fad? What about herringbone necklaces. It was BLING before BLING meant you needed a couple of stacks to be BLINGING. Speaking of BLING, I wouldn't be opposed to the five finger rings popping back up either. What about when Starter jackets was hot, and you could match em up with the hats! I could maybe deal with those coming back. But some things like women wearing finger waves, men wearing tight ass jeans, matter of fact pretty much any clothing item from the 80's like the spandex craze should NEVER RETURN! Yet and

  • EPISODE 127 "I AM NOT A ROLE MODEL"

    17/12/2010 Duración: 03h00s

What makes a ROLE MODEL? Websters dictionary defines it as "a person whose behavior in a particular role is imitated by others". Another definition I found was "a person whose behavior, example, or success is or can be emulated by others, esp. by younger people." Let's break that down shall we. If you go by the Websters definition then it would suggest ANYONE can be a ROLE MODEL. I mean any can imitate the acts of someone else. Whether those acts be GOOD or BAD so that one is sketchy at best. The second suggest that a persons "success, example or behavior" if emulated automatically makes them a ROLE MODEL. Both of these are total BULLSH*** if you ask me! Mainly since anything anyone does can be emulated if another posses the physical and mental capacity to do it. So that means EVERYBODY is a walking ROLE MODEL? I named the show I'm Not A Role Model because I don't want to be emulated. I don't want other peoples children to look at me and think "I should emulate him" because I do a lot of things KIDS should no

  • EPISODE 126 "NO TRESPASING: STALKERS!"

    16/12/2010 Duración: 03h00s

STALKERS! Yes that's right, they are EVERYWHERE and sometimes people don't even realize they STALKING somebody! Being stalked can be a scary situation because sometimes things can REALLY get out of hand! It can be innocent when it's just a person trying hard to get with someone and really calling them a lot and what not, but that is not what this show is about. This is about the time that person stayed outside your house all night. The time they called you from your driveway at 3 am. The time you had 30 missed calls and 30 voice mail messages. The time they showed up at your job and made a scene. The time they called someone else you was kicking it with playing on the phone or threatening them. The time they tried to add some of your social network friends as theirs to spy on you. The time they showed up when you was on a date with someone else and things got physical. The time you had to file that damn restraining order. The time they just wouldn't take no for an answer and said they would KILL you if you le

  • EPISODE 125 "AINT NO FUN IF THE HOMIES CANT HAVE NONE"

    15/12/2010 Duración: 03h00s

The CLASSIC title from Snoop Doggs joint is why I named this show and it's also the basic notion behind it. People's reputation are just as important as their personality when it comes to how they are perceived. That is the nice way of saying IF YOU HAVE A REP FOR BEING GOOD IN BED OR EASY TO GET IN BED THEN THAT WILL MANIFEST ITSELF IN OTHER WAYS. So let me break down what I mean. I saY if you are a woman or a man, and you have a good bedroom rep in the streets, then you will get more attention for that attribute. It's no different then if you had a rep for getting money, fighting, or being cool. All of those attributes will make people want to hustle with you on a street level, back down when they know you bout it, or chop it up with you when they see you. Well the same thing in the bedroom: IF PEOPLE HEAR YOU THE BOMB IN THE BED, THEY GET CURIOUS TO SEE IF IT'S TRUE! This is the PRINCIPLE reason that a lot of females claim they don't have female friends or tell them about they man's sex game. BECAUSE THEY

  • EPISODE 124 "LOCKED UP"

    14/12/2010 Duración: 02h36min

Jail is not fun. Prison is even less fun because if you are there you more than likely gonna be there for a while. Either way, the whole demeaning institution that is SUPPOSED to be a symbol of JUSTICE is one place no one for the most part wants to be. Everything about jail pretty much sucks. The rules, the food, the clothes, the people, the workers...EVERYTHING! I have NEVER known anyone that had a GOOD jail story or experience. The only people who are actually PROUD to have been to jail are dumb asses and the HARDCORE gang bangers, since they need that to get their street cred and connections up. Otherwise it's a place 99% of people try their best to avoid. To answer my own question , YES I have been locked up. Yes more than once, for things that were serious and things that wasn't. But ANYBODY can go to jail. In fact MOST of my friends have been to jail at least ONCE in their life. You will be hard pressed to be in a room full of black men and NO ONE has been to jail, and chances are a few have been to PRI

  • EPISODE 123 "CHILD SUPPORT: A BROKEN SYSTEM"

    10/12/2010 Duración: 02h48min

Before I start this synopsis, I want to say that people should take care of their kids. Ok that's out the damn way, CHILD SUPPORT IS F****ED UP! There are so many reasons that CS is a broken system it is kind of hard to even pick where to begin. CS is supposed to make a TRUE DEAD BEAT PARENT (um notice I didn't say DEAD BEAT DAD!!) that never does ANYTHING for a child take some sort of financial responsibility. But somehow it turned into a way to make angry women "hit a man where it hurts, in his pockets". THIS IS TOTAL BULLSH***! First of all MONEY does not constitute being a GOOD parent. NO amount of money can replace the TIME spent with a child and the LOVE you show them. Next, the AMOUNT of money should not be based on what a man makes! If I make millions of dollars, that doesn't mean it takes MILLIONS of dollars to raise a damn child! Next, going to JAIL or getting your license suspended is the absolute final slap in the damn face. If you ever hit hard times and fall short of what some damn judge said yo

  • EPISODE 122 "AKA: ALSO KNOWN AS"

    09/12/2010 Duración: 02h09min

NICKNAMES, STREET NAMES OR WHATEVER, it seems like most people I know, especially black people, have some other name they are called that is NOT the name they momma gave them. I mean think about it for a sec, in fact look at your FB friends list or Myspace. Hell you can even look in your phone! I'm willing to bet almost every person in that phone that's under 50 has a damn alias. A NICKNAME, a STREET NAME, if they are creative an ARTIST NAME..its gonna be something! When I thought about this show I went through my phone and all I could do is laugh. The only stark difference in numbers was the females tended to have AKA's a tad bit less. BUT some of them I didn't grow up with so they might have had one back in the day and dropped it and got brand new when they got grown. But AKA's for the black community almost seem like a mandatory requirement, especially in the hood. So here goes: Do you have an AKA? If so what is it? Do you like your AKA? Who gave you the name? Why did you get the name? What's the craziest
