Inside The Pallet House

We are joined by a very special guest, sure it could be Ray, or even The Duke, but word on the street is it is the one and only Zac Brown.  So we roll out the special Malort, the white cowboy boots, and of course remove our hats.  We have to show some class.      

The new Fat Tire is here, and we need to know if it is better than the old Fat Tire. We put them head to head in a blind taste test, and the results are about as clear as Bluetooth VS Sonos. 

Well it's official we are rich...for a minute. That money will be gone soon enough for newly priced seats at the movies, and made up holidays. One beloved haunt, Dan's Cafe, is at least keeping to their methods for keeping money in your pockets. They also are not looking to help you find love, and we are just fine with that.

The weekend of the SuperBowl is here, and our thoughts are on bets and sports.  We are joined by our resident sports expert Eddie V to bring us up to speed on all of the action in our own way. Of course our way is a little different than others. We take a deep dive into JV Girl's basketball, the darker side of Hall of Fame stars, and eventually even make our picks for the Big Game. Game On!

This week we are joined by Ray and Taylor from the Squeezing Lemons podcast, and they promptly take us to school about all things mixology. These guys know their stuff, and if they didn't make such strong drinks we might have learned something too. 

East Coast skiing is getting worse every year, yet we keep going back. Fat Tire is trying to keep pace so they are going to remake the recipe so they can suck now too. The race to get worse is on, and we are bearing witness.  

The world is full of interesting people.  Some of them have all the cool toys, some are thieves, while others are out larping to ward of evil spirits.  This week we meet them all.

The NFL Playoffs are here which means betting is about to hit a fever pitch. Not all bets have to be about money though, and that is where things can get interesting. Speaking of interesting...why does Stu have a black eye?

Here's hoping the Holidays treated you well.  Not all of us can go to DollyWood for the Holidays, but Nascar stars do.  The rest of us talked sports and cars in our old Groomsmen suits. Safe Home #43

We are back for another edition of the Holiday Drink Challenge, and as always it is an easy decision to crown the winner.  This is due to our perfect math skills which have ensured this will not end in a tie.  Well assuming you are able to find a tie breaking vote when the pressure is on. 

The holidays bring their own set of stressors. Picking the "right" gift, putting together the PowerPoint to tell people about the gifts you want, keeping with traditions that may or may not make sense anymore, knowing how much to tip, saying the word tangy.  Yep it can be a tough time of year. 

We revisit a trend from a couple of decades ago that is coming back into fashion.  Might as well be a bullseye.  Speaking of bullseyes, you can't keep saying you are not on steroids while also being the largest meathead on the internet. People are going to keep taking shots at you until something sticks. 

The Holidays are coming at us full bore, and we have a bit of a holiday miracle this week as we are joined by new and old friends.  We also help to settle the age old question of whether Pilk or Cilk is better.  Ok let's be honest, we didn't even know this was a thing until just now, but I'll be damned if we don't already have an opinion.  

We have reached the end of our mustache growing season, and it is time to celebrate.  Might be time to break out the Chick-Fil-A peppermint milkshakes.  Be careful though, too much of a good thing can blow out your bellybutton. 

Happy Thanksgiving. Here's hoping you had the perfect amount of food and nothing went to waste. No throwing out of the new medical devices with the trash, and only your favorite purple shirt to wear. Maybe you even got to try that new lab grown turkey. Yes, the season is upon us.       

Is Troy about to become a FanBoy of a product he has railed against in the past?  Time will tell, but all indications point to "yes".        

Troy is triggered this week, and all because some people just don't know how to park. We start talking Christmas movies until we realize it is way too early to be thinking about this kind of stuff.  I mean seriously we don't even have our full mustaches grown in yet. 

The mustaches are slowly making their appearance, and thus far they haven't changed our lives like a billion dollars would.  Smoked queso may change our lives, but we are split on the addition of Velveeta. In fact the only thing we can agree on is that New Jersey may actually be getting something right in regards to car ownership.  No seriously.
