232 - Follow Along - Sidney Smith
20/02/2019 Duración: 34minThis is going to be an amazing adventure this year following Sidney along his journey to his first IRONMAN later this year. We talk about what it’s like for him to sign up for his first full and his outlook on the training for the month of January. Sidney is a humbling man to be around for many reasons. His personality, gratitude towards hunting and finishing paired with a positive outlook on life, and courage to face adversity are all things I truly admire about Sidney. In 2015, Sidney and his family made the choice to amputate both legs due to Charcot Marie Tooth Disease. Sidney faces unique challenges being a double amputee blade runner. I look forward to following you this year Sidney and wish you the best for the coming months!-Enjoy the show. 220 – Expert Series – F2C Nutrition Owner Greg Cowan
02/02/2019 Duración: 01h23min220 – Expert Series – F2C Nutrition Owner Greg Cowan-Over the first 200 episodes of talking with athletes, I noticed a large trend in the specific nutrition company that athletes use. This company is F2C Nutrition out of Canada. F2C is an athlete focused, science driven company and in this episode I talk with Greg the owner. We discuss the products his company makes, how to effectively use them, and most importantly the quality control. The product line that F2C nutrition produces are all Inform Certified and some are even Inform Sport Certified as well as NSF certified. Basically, if you use their products you can know that there are absolutely no banned substances in their products. They do so much testing on quality, taste, absorption, and much more. I learned quite a bit through this interview and I think anyone who wants to know more about fueling during races can benefit from this episode.-Follow F2C Nutrition,Facebook: F2C NutritionInstagram: @F2CnutritionWebsite: www.f2cnutrition.com-Follow Co

19/01/2019 Duración: 01h15minOh boy. Get ready for some good laughs as we poke fun at each other in this episode. Ben is a great friend of mine who loves the sport of triathlon, riding his bike, and has an amazing wife Lisa who also does triathlons. Ben and I talk about his race and a new nutrition company he is using for the run. We talk about his led up to this race and something very emotional that he and a group that I was fortunate enough to be a part of in Kona that made a certain professional triathlete and his wife breakdown into tears. The course here at Indian Wells was adjusted just moments before the race weekend truly began. This adjustment allowed for a better bike course and we discuss how this impacted his mindset. Thank you Ben for spending time with me, it was a joy, pleasure, and honor to have you back on the show buddy. All the best going into Oceanside and Santa Rosa.-Enjoy the show.
