"The Music Video Race is an annual event held here in San Francisco that teams up bands with filmmakers and gives them a weekend to shoot and edit a music video, and they picked a handful of bands to showcase at Above DNA right here in San Francisco. Today I’m stoked to play for you two of them: Your Cannons and Giggle Party. With their three-guitar setup, Your Cannons sounds a bit like a more indie-leaning Radiohead, complete with British singer. Giggle Party really means it with the “Party”—this show had blow-up mics, balloons, dancing, crowd participation, you name it.
