Welcome to the 4th instalment of our Fringe World Miniseries! In this chapter, Ryan talks to Evelyn Snook (Writer & Performer) and Be Gosper (Composer/Performer) from "Dancing in the Drive Way". It's a show, that is part dance, part song and part biography. We talked about the show's journey, it's team, finding the balance of making a show that is dealing with mental illness, the do's and don'ts of autobiography, and the reliability of York carpenters. Chapter Two of our Fringe World miniseries sees Ryan talking to the Performers and Creators of "Dad"; Isaac Powell, Jarryd Prain and Marshall Stay. This little group of boys chatted about their creative process, Gillette & masculinity, the boundaries of autobiographical art, Their own Dad watching Dad, and there are some cracking Dad jokes in this episode. Also the music featured in this episode was composed and published by Isaac Diamond ("Dad's" Composer).

2019 is here and Ryan is back with a mini series of conversations from the hard working artists of Perth's Fringe World Festival. In this first chapter, Ryan is joined by the team behind "Patti the Pig Story and Song Show": Serena Chalker (Choreographer) and Michael A Caruso (Writer). A genuine family show! The three of them talked about: the show's journey, that adults should not have all the fun at the festival, the environment and giving back to Mother Earth & to our children. Plus some great advice on promoting a show. Songs in this chapter were written and produced by Michael A Caruso & Vocals by Melissa Bamford (2018).

After a rummage in the wardrobe, Ryan has found the magical Fez which was given to him by his Cousin Patrick, who found the Fez while visiting Turkey. And so Ryan thought he would try a new format with the podcast, where he and a collections of guests try answering questions from this magical fez. Question ranging from "Coke or Pepsi" to "What is the meaning of Life?". In the Ep. Ryan is joined by good friend and colleague Sean Crofton. In the early hours of a cool Saturday, bird song and the buzzing of a cafe filled the air. The sound framed a dream like scene. In this chapter Ryan met with the Director, Designer, Writer, Musician and Performer Joe Lui. A true jack of all trades in the Perth theatre industry. There was talk of "Fracture's" Diamond Thrust, the immortal Colonel Sanders, Joe's projects and creative process, the power of Meme's, understanding Dance, "A Poem is a Mirror" and the creative process. "Take from everything".

T'was on a late Summer's day, that Ryan met with acting and teaching Legend, Angela Punch McGregor. In this insightful chapter, there was talk of: Mel Gibson, the classics, the politics of the rehearsal room, audiences are magical, teaching at WAAPA, the definition of acting, Ruth Cracknell's other art, Australian series Mother & Son, art is sharing the human condition, stress the invisible problem and "Nothing Matters".

Ryan met with director Lucy Clements at Perth's Fringe World Festival HQ. There was talk of: Lucy's new theatre company Ghosts, Actor's being not just technicians with a skill, Fringe World Festival mega guide, Field Marshall Montgomery and his advice to his troops, Stress is the new Coffee, Lucy's New York Theatre Binge, Lucy meeting Alan Cummings, her Christmas lunch with Cate Blanchett, what is directing?, and how art can be put together by fate.

In this special outdoor edition, Ryan sat down with Director Riley Spadaro, a recent WAAPA graduate and now incoming NIDA student. The two chatted about: Minus One Sister at the State Theatre, Leticia Cáceres, Belvior St. Theatre, Exhaustion as a badge of honour, the magical powers of Phoebe Sullivan, Perth is a nurturing City, the civil development of smashed Avo's and Maggie Smith is a world treasure.

On a cool summer day Ryan went down to the Subiaco Arts Centre to have a yarn with award winning Director, Writer and Actor Kyle Morrison. The pair chatted about: Kyle's theatrical youth, the Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company, the 26th of January, creation rather than destruction, the magic of Language, International Aboriginal Theatre, Games and fearlessness.

In this chapter Ryan ventured forth onto the campus of UWA to find the politically and economically wise Jessica Wright. A true "Insider" into the world of the Liberal Party. There was discussion of Same-Sex Marriage, the celebritization of our democracy, Honesty can be a double edge sword, Malcolm Turnbull, Tony Abbott, the Dual Citizenship scandal, the shaving of Dr. Mike Nahan, Clay shooting and YouTube. And sorry, there is a bit of ambience in this one.

Once again Ryan makes a pilgrimage to south of the river, where he is greeted by the "King of Perth Comedy" Paul "Werzel" Montague. These two talked about: The mobility of being a Stand-up, the story behind the name "Werzel", Big cartoon Shakespeare, Lumpy verse, Rum and bad intentions, Mental Health, a warning to satisfaction, Product vs. Art and the love letter that is Pirate Church. Ah-Har!

Chapter 25 is here! And Ryan is met with the Performer, Writer, Film Maker and the Director of Soup, Ana Victoria Neves. Obviously the two talk about Soup (which Ana gives a surprising influence of the play) and the upcoming FRINGE WORLD FESTIVAL. But they also talk about: Ana's youthful globe trotting, "Spoilers" feeding societies impatience, Film making, the rehearsal process and Ana brilliantly notes that: "It's also the People that Perth has to offer".

It was during an early morning in December where Ryan had a chat with Performer, Writer and Creative Producer, Samantha Maclean. In this chapter there was chatter of: Static Drive Co., the early days of the BPA course, Sam's job as a Mocap performer, Facebook as a theatre company graveyard, using the classics as a historical spectacle, the rehearsal process, serving the audience, Clare Watson, Toast and Stress.
