Salvius Horatious – Keeper Chad Iavolenus Tertius (Gladiator) – Bill Lucius Marius (Centurion) – John Keeper – Oscar Rios While nursing their bruised egos at the tavern, Salvius suggests that the group takes a journey to Palla to investigate the temple there. As they are getting ready to leave in the morning the children are there. They tell Iavolenus that their mom knows who he is and he shouldn’t come around anymore so he doesn’t get hurt. The trip is uneventful and upon reaching Palla the group secures lodgings and then heads over to the temple of Asclepiads. An acolyte by the name of Saria greets them and asks them if they are in need of services. Salvius realizes that many of the acolytes appear to be native Carthaginians. She explains that the temples has been there about three years and that the high priest, Hamilcar, was able to lend aid after the poisoning. She is hesitant to answer their questions too deeply but agrees to set up a meeting with Hamilcar after Lucius and Iavolenus make dona

Salvius Horatious – Keeper Chad Iavolenus Tertius (Gladiator) – Bill Lucius Marius (Centurion) – John GM – Oscar Our investigators are in the midst of some extended downtime, relaxing and recuperating at their patron's villa Rubra. Iavolenus has taken up fishing and says to Lucius and Horatious, one afternoon, there are some street children down by the harbor that he wants to adopt. When they express misgivings about his course of action Iavolenus explains that the mother is a deranged prostitute who spends all of her money on wine, neglecting the children. Furthermore she seems to have some power, as she has been known to curse people who try to help the children which ends in misfortune for those she has cursed. Persuaded by Iavolenus, the group decides to investigate around town to see what they can learn about this mysterious mad woman. The story that unfolds is an unfortunate one. It seems that the woman, Cyan, was at a wedding with her husband in the next town over and a number of guests

Jack Crandall – Brett Randy Anders – Kurt Erin Shaughnessy – John GM – Neil Jack heads over to the school to meet with the cleaning crew. He tells them he’s not feeling good and if they can get everything done quickly they can go home early. Erin and Randy are parked down the street. Jack goes to the lab first and introduces the virus to the server and as he’s finishing up two people come in. They younger guy is Kyle Morton, one of the test subjects and he has Dr. Hoffman as a hostage. Kyle is freaking out and yells at Jack to get away from the server. Things have gone to hell in a hand basket but the ever wily Jack convinces Kyle that Amanda was his niece and that the doctor needs to pay. Kyle has Jack strap the doctor into the chair so that "he can see". Once Hoffman is strapped down Jack flips the table that Kyle is sitting at and commences to beating the ever loving shit out of him. Once that’s done he chokes out Hoffman and grabs the helmet and then goes upstairs to grab the files. Randy an

As is typical with any Fear game there is endless discussion about how to proceed. Jack suggests picking up a computer from Best Buy to replace the one in Hoffman’s office. After lunch they head back to their hotel so they can send Edward a post card. Edward agrees that local assets can pick up the other test participants for evaluation. While debating on how to destroy the server in the lab Randy contacts Lady Branwynn to see if she would be willing to give them a virus to destroy it. She is willing in exchange for the data or barring that information from the Nighthawks on someone they are holding who is possessed by a demon. Deciding that it’s probably best not to betray the company they decline and Randy sets to work on designing a virus himself. Jack Nash – John (Prime) Reggie Carlisle – John (Beta) Decklan Laela- Jesse GM- Tod Foley Various attempts at inhibiting the Hlorg have proven ineffective as Chip arrives and is brought to the Orbgasm. Chip has a tearful reunion with Reggie as Scilla, Nash and Steve-O lure the Hlorg down into the bay of the Marduk using a trail of potting soil. The Hlorg follows the trail and Nash instructs the Marduk’s computer Tiamat to close the door. Having been rescued by Nash yet again, Scilla’s eyes begin beaming as she looks at him. With the Hlorg trapped Reggie makes the jump to Malki 4, arriving in the upper atmosphere. The planet is composed completely of quivering, viscous pink goo. Reggie pulls some tricky atmospheric flying and is able to jettison the Marduk out of the bay of the Orbgasm, dropping it into the planet. At some point Reggie and Chip become pee pals but not puke pals. Before jumping back to home earth Nash is trying to get Chip settled when Scilla comes over with stars in her eyes and ask

Looking out the window they can see medical staff scrambling to render aid when Nash asks questioningly “Hey Reg, what’s that?” pointing at the slightly quivering pink goo on the floor. Scilla and Steve-O murmur the Hlorg and Nash grabs his rifle and shoots it. As chaos erupts again on the Orbgasm’s bridge the coms start flashing and beeping and Reggie answers and finds Bento on the line, before Reggie can ask anything Bento says he’s patching in Chip. Bento then calls Nash and tells him that someone at Somnambula called him saying that someone had dreamed about the end of the world and that Reggie and Nash were in the dream. Tallentrax wants exclusive access to the demon blood and is prepared to pay a good price for it. Venari explains that he is hoping that the Adeptus Mechanicus may work with the Ecclesiarchy to fashion weapons with the substance and says that Karnot Stand is already aware of it’s existence. Tallentrax calls Venari a fool and says that the Ecclesiarchy will never accept that kind of deal. Venari tells him he will sleep on it and then asks if Tallentrax could “fix" Tim. Unfortunately Tim is quite dead so instead Venari opts for a full service in honor of Tim and his heroic sacrifice. As Venari and Emmaus make to leave Venari turns on his heal and tells Tallentrax about Somnius Abernath and his role in procuring the demon blood. He agrees but is not hopeful for a positive outcome. Kynnoch heads off as well saying he has other business to attend to. Emmaus expresses some reservations about the upcoming negotiation with Explorator Tallentrax but Venari is blithely unaware. They then head off to negotiate with Explorator Tallentrax and to see if the Adeptus Mechanicus can repair Tim. Kynnoch goes to one of the Eccesiarchy temples and bullies the Acolyte at the door into letting him in. He proceeds to head into the library and begins researching Chaos and demons. He finds information about a being known as the Unnamed that is potentially older than the known Chaos Gods. It is a trickster God that manipulates the universe and that the Eldar may worship this Unnamed as the Laughing God that will unite the universe. Jarnan meets

After searching around for a few minutes Salvius finds not only the outline of a secret door but the lever to open it. So the party heads off through the mountains and after climbing many sets of stairs comes to an arch with daylight beyond. As they emerge from the caverns they find themselves at the top of a ridge on the side of the mountain, overlooking a lush valley. Cautiously descending the carved rock stairs Salvius finds the tracks of the hunters when they reach the valley floor. The party follows the tracks into the woods trying to intercept the hunters to prevent any mischief. When they enter the woods they are beset by dryads and are able to narrowly make their escape. They decide that more information is better so they go back inside and show Mathias the artifacts that Iavolenus found under the bed. He recognizes them as being from the Ancient Kingdom, although he’s never seen these pieces before. Mathias goes on to say that the artifacts are likely from a temple treasury an after a bit of prodding from Lucius says that satyrs are known to found near this Goddess’s temples. He is reluctant to speak her name but says that she is the Black Goat of the Wood with a thousand young, Shub Niggurath. Before the investigators leave Mathias says the artifacts are worth a fortune and he could provide names if they are to be sold. Salvius politely declines saying they are not for sale. I am happy to have Oscar Rios back on the show again. We're going to be chatting about Golden Goblin Press's latest Kickstarter Growing Up / Overnight. Its a two book horror fiction collection. Erin notices that when the probe hits the spot Dr. Hoffman is interested in the patients “lock up” and stare into the corner of the room as if something is there. When the probe is moved away they look confused. Amanda Freidman, the young woman who killed herself, had received five treatments over the course of a week.
