Today for Justin's mentorship, we are bringing on the professional artist and art professor Ron Lemen! Justin Donaldson is a freelance fantasy and science fiction illustrator by day and also by night. Annabelle is best known for weaving monochromatic palettes with gold leaf to illustrate a smorgasbord of interests: nature, history, mythology, and the occult. Each piece has a story to tell and is meant to pull the viewer into a mysterious world full of macabre creatures and beautiful - but fearsome - goddesses. In a past life, Jason Porath worked as an animator at DreamWorks Animation on productions such as Kung Fu Panda 2, The Croods and How to Train Your Dragon 2. He left in 2014 to start Rejected Princesses, a blog featuring the illustrated stories of history’s boldest unsung women - which has since become two volumes of books (so far!) put out by HarperCollins.
