They kept asking, "What does he mean by a little while? We don't understand what he is saying." John 16:18. A little while can be the best thing that ever happened to you if you believe the word of God and follow it. However, the good news for you as you go out today; in a little while, you shall be … Can you kindly fill in those words that you felt impossible because, in a little while, it shall be done in Jesus' name. Prophesy a little while, resist a little while, deny yourself a little while, and enjoy eternity forever. Welcome to a new day as the Lord has ordained, and with the assurance that He has ordained today, I wish to let you know that in a little while, your joy shall overflow. As believers, we are to be men and women of hope, fully persuaded that it is the key to opening the door before us. Paul spoke about three strong pillars of the Christian walk, and one of them is hope. Hope, to a believer, shouldn't be abstract like you know in English. Hope is similar to faith and a supporting pillar to t

  • Self-Discipline; Make a Forming good habits Your Goal

    04/10/2022 Duración: 04min

"Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace." Psalm 37:37 Many people struggle with forming good habits, let alone keeping them up. Whether waking up early, working out, eating healthy, or studying, it can be tough to stick to a routine. But it's worth it! Not only does forming good habits lead to better physical and mental health, but it also leads to increased productivity and a more successful life. Forming good habits can be difficult, but it is important to start with small goals and build from there. When trying to form a new habit, it's important to start small. If your goal is to wake up at 6 am every day, start by waking up at 6:30 am for a week. Once you've mastered that, move on to 6 am the next week. And so on. This gradual approach will make it easier for you to stick to the habit, and eventually, you'll be able to do it without even thinking about it. Joshua 1:7 says, "Above all, be strong and very courageous. Be careful to observe all the law that

  • Self-Discipline - Understand your priorities

    03/10/2022 Duración: 04min

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2 One of the essential keys to self-discipline is the ability to prioritize and manage one's time and resources to achieve goals. It is an important life skill that can help individuals succeed academically and professionally. Those who are self-disciplined can set boundaries for themselves and stick to them, even when faced with temptation or distractions. They understand the importance of doing what is necessary to reach their goals and are willing to make sacrifices to stay on track. Though many people struggle with self-discipline, they want to be disciplined but find it difficult to do what they need to do. Part of the problem may be that they do not understand their priorities. I Corinthians 10:13 says, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be temp

  • The Lord's Promise to Answer! Part Two

    02/10/2022 Duración: 04min

"Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65:24 Today's scripture from Isaiah is a wonderful promise from The Lord that He will answer us before we even have a chance to call on Him. It is an assurance that He is always listening to us and is ready and willing to help us in our time of need. This promise symbolizes the great love and cares that The Lord has for us. We can trust that He will be there for us no matter what we are going through. I remember a miraculous story from our WhatsApp subscriber who had always wanted children, but her body wouldn't cooperate. Finally, she texted me with a prayer request that she desperately wanted a child, or her husband's family would drive her out. My heart sank as she requested such a prayer of desperation. Next, I prayed for her to conceive a child, and finally, God answered her prayers her prayer within a month of that prayer. She was overjoyed when she found out she was pregnant. Now, She thanked God daily for His wonderf

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things thou knowest not." Jeremiah 33:3 Don't hesitate to call on God if you feel lost or alone. If you need anything, call on God. When you have access to a functioning mobile phone, you can communicate with another person on the other end of the line. Before this technological advancement, communication was greatly restricted, especially between people in different geographical locations. Despite technological development, God has always been available for us to communicate with. God instructed us that we can reach Him by calling on Him. He said it and promised to answer when we call on Him and show us great and mighty things that we know not. If we can believe and put what technological advancements have offered us into use, why then do we neglect this great offer from God, An offer to call Him? Consequentially, we live in great ignorance and refuse to accept this factual truth. A simple proof of this is our nonchalant attitude to His fe

  • Seeing God's Beauty in His Perfection! Part Five

    30/09/2022 Duración: 05min

"One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple." Psalm 27:4 In today's Bible verse, the Psalmist perceived God's beauty in His perfection. This is because the author believes God and His beauty are perfect. This belief leads David to desire to see and know God more because he knows that seeing and knowing God more will bring him great joy and peace. Therefore, as you take in the beauty of God, it fills you with a desire to know Him better and to seek Him more.  Remember, thinking about the physical beauty of God is one thing, but experiencing that beauty in the spiritual is something we need to consider. The Bible is full of examples of God's beauty. For instance, in the book of Revelation, John described God as "the Lamb that was slain, who is the radiant light of the throne of God and the Lamb" (Revelation 21:23). When Isaiah saw God, he said, "Woe to me! I am ruined!

  • Seeing God's Beauty in His Perfection! Part Four

    29/09/2022 Duración: 04min

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well." Psalm 139:14 Today's Bible verse helps us see that God sees us as His perfect creation. You are fearfully and wonderfully made and are exactly whom He wants you to be. There is nothing wrong about you and nothing about you that He does not know or love. So, when you look at yourself, you should see perfection - not in an arrogant way, but in a way that recognizes your value and worth in His eyes. When you see yourself through His eyes, you can start to believe that you are worthy of His love and care. To see God's Beauty in His Perfection, you must take a step back and look at your lives through His eyes; it's easy to feel like you're falling short. Don't let me deceive you; everyone has made mistakes in one way or the other, sometimes big ones. Some people can be selfish and unkind sometimes, while others can be impatient and quick to anger. But when we remember that we are fearfully and won

"Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them." Psalm 111:2 When we behold the beauty of God's creation, we see a reflection of His perfection. Just as flawless diamond catches and reflects light, so does the natural world reflect the light of its Creator. In the same way that a work of art is beautiful because it is an expression of the artist's vision, so too is naturally beautiful because it is a manifestation of God's perfection. I can't help but be filled with awe and wonder of God. Every detail is perfect, from the smallest molecule to the largest galaxy. It's all a testimony to the greatness of our Creator. When we take a moment to stop and look around us and see all that God has created, it is beautiful. From the mountains and valleys to the rivers and oceans, to the trees and flowers, to the sun and moon and stars, to the animals and birds, everything is a manifestation of God's perfection. Psalm 118:29 says, "Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadf

    27/09/2022 Duración: 04min

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." Psalm 19:1 We can see God's beauty in His perfection by reading today's Bible verse. We can see how perfect and amazing God is by looking at the stars and the sky, even though some people think of God as a being who is old and angry. Someone who is distant and uninvolved in our lives. The truth is that He is far from that. Instead, the Bible tells us that God is a loving Father who desires to have a relationship with us. One of the ways that we can see God's love and care for us is by looking at His creation. The world was created by God and is a reflection of His beauty and perfection. Psalm 19:1 says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day, they pour forth speech; night after night, they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard." In other words, the world is full of beauty, and it is a glimpse of the wonder of God. We can see His ha

  • Seeing God's Beauty in His Perfection!

    26/09/2022 Duración: 04min

"For the LORD, your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awesome God, showing no partiality and accepting no bribe." Deuteronomy 10:17 God is perfect in His beauty, and His perfection is seen in His creation. His handiwork is seen in the intricacies of the universe and the minute details of everyday life. To see God's beauty is to see the world through His eyes and appreciate its order and harmony. It is to know the purpose and meaning behind everything that exists and to be awestruck by the magnificence of it all. Therefore, let us behold our King, our God - the unchanging changer! Oh, great King, the mighty that created heaven and earth and reigned over all. The awesome Lord of hosts, the great God that shows no partiality. The mighty God gave us life and power, the great God whose name is to be praised. The mighty God redeemed us with the eye o mercy and sent his only son into the world to save us from sin and death. The mighty God who raised Jesus Christ as savior and redeemer of t

  • A Prescription for guaranteed Happiness! Part Two

    25/09/2022 Duración: 04min

"They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do." Psalm 1:3 Have you ever gotten a prescription of Happiness through reliance on God's word? The Psalmist promises that those who walk in His ways will be blessed with Happiness. This is because a life centered around God is one of order, peace, and joy. This type of prescription in the word of God promises guaranteed Happiness that is not found in the fleeting things of this world because to be like a tree planted by the rivers of water is to have a deep and abiding faith. Remember, a tree planted by the rivers of water will be continually watered and will grow to be tall and strong. So it is with those who live a God-centered life. They are constantly nurtured and strengthened by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. As they grow in their faith, they bear fruit that blesses others and glorifies God. Like a tree, a Godly person is firmly rooted in the truth of Scripture. They

"Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:8 Everyone wants to be happy. It's a basic human need that we all crave. But unfortunately, happiness doesn't come easy for everyone. (I prayed, sorrow will not be your portion in Jesus' name. Amen). In fact, for many, it seems to be nothing more than a fleeting moment that may appear every once in a while. But what if there was a prescription for guaranteed happiness? God has the answer. In Psalm 1:1-6, we read, "Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by water streams, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment nor sinners in the assembly o

  • Jesus, Our Righteousness! Part Two

    24/09/2022 Duración: 04min

"For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you." Psalm 86:5 Do you always look down on yourself or condemn yourself for your past ways of life? If so, you are not alone. Many people do this because they have not been taught that God forgives them. Through Jesus, we can learn that God is forgiving and that we should forgive ourselves. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are forgiven. His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. We must realize that our past sins no longer define us. Just as God has forgiven us, we need to forgive ourselves. Self-condemnation keeps us from living in the freedom Christ died giving us. It also prevents us from being effective witnesses for Christ. When we focus on our past, we miss out on what God is doing in the present. Instead, we must learn from our mistakes and move forward with God's help. Because the righteousness of God is beyond every effort, you try to put in to ensure that you appear holy before God. The righteo

"For he has made him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5.21. Nothing has hindered humankind's relationship with God more than the sin of consciousness. It is why unbelievers believe their sins are too grievous to be forgiven by God. It's why believers question their stand before God; if they are truly forgiven or affirmed, If they need to show penance for sins before they are forgiven. For some, it's why they will hold back on the gifting of God in their life because somewhere in their minds, they still feel they are not worthy of all that God has done; but this ought not to be so. Many scripture texts affirm the forgiveness God has given us, and you must be abreast of the same. For example, psalms 103:3,12 'Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; As far as the east is from the west, so far has God removed our transgressions from us. This verse 3 reminds us that even when we make mistakes, God still loves and forgiv

  • The Mind of Unity and Peace! Part Two.

    21/09/2022 Duración: 04min

"Eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:3 In a world that is often filled with division and conflict, it is refreshing to read a passage like Ephesians 4:3, which speaks about the mind of Unity and peace. This verse reminds us that despite our differences, we can still choose to come together in harmony. It is a timely reminder to put aside our differences and focus on what we have in common. When we do this, we can create a more peaceful world for everyone. The mind of Unity and peace is a mindset focused on the oneness of all things. It is a mindset that is grounded in the belief that peace and Unity are the natural states of things and that all people are innately good. When you have a mind of Unity and peace, you see the oneness of all things and feel a sense of connection to all things. You see the beauty in all things, and you believe that all people have the potential to be good. Colossians 3:14 says, "And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all to

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment." 1 Corinthians 1:10 Unity and peace are two important ingredients in a sandwich for progress among the body of Christ. When there is unity, there will be peace. There is a blessing upon those that follow after peace and try as much as possible to keep the body of Christ (the church) in unity. The bible makes us understand that the meek shall inherit the earth and delight themselves in the abundance of peace (Psalm 37:11). Jesus Christ, throughout His ministry, kept His disciples in unity and bond of peace, and we are also expected to live in peace and unity among brethren. Therefore, in His prayers for the disciples, we saw that He kept them together in peace and unity, and none of them was lost except the son of perdition that the scriptures might be fulfilled ( John 17:12). He went furth

    19/09/2022 Duración: 04min

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 How often do we go through the motions of our day-to-day lives without really living? We wake up, go to work or school, come home, eat dinner, watch TV and go to bed. Rinse and repeat. It's easy to get stuck in a rut and forget that each day is a gift from God. But what if we changed our perspective and decided to make every day extraordinary? What if we looked at each day as an opportunity to appreciate the goodness of God in our lives and others? Remember, this day is from the LORD, and it should be marvelous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23). When we start each day to live in goodness and enjoy the blessings of God, our ordinary days become extraordinary. We begin to see the beauty in everyday moments and the people around us. God has given us each day as a gift. It is up to us to make the most of it. We can choose to exist day by day, or we can choose to live life to the fullest. When we truly appreciate each day, we open ourselv

"I will be glad and rejoice in your loving kindness, for you have seen my pain. You knew about the distress in my soul." Psalm 31:7. When we take the time to step back and see the beauty in the world around us, it is easy to feel close to God. By taking a moment out of our day to appreciate his creations, we can feel his presence more strongly in our lives. Even if we don't have anything specific to praise him for, simply acknowledging his greatness can be enough to make our day extraordinary. By looking at our day through the lens of gratitude, we can find joy in the simple things and make our ordinary day extraordinary. Therefore, do not let your yesterday's ungrateful mode ruin today's glory. Because someone elsewhere looks to this day to see, unfortunately for them, the chapter of the book of life was closed before midnight yesterday. So, no matter how life treated you yesterday, wake up each day, and be grateful. Remember, it is by the grace of God that makes it possible to wake up. Ephesians 1:3 says, "

    17/09/2022 Duración: 04min

Our God! Our God! "Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; may Your glory cover all the earth." Psalm 57:11. In an ever-changing world filled with turmoil, it is comforting to know that our God is not dead but surely alive. While He may not be static or inactive, He is certainly alive and active in the lives of His people. This is evident through the answered prayers, the protection from harm, and the provision of all our needs. We can rest assured that our God is not only alive, but He is also working on our behalf. His mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness endures to all generations. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever; He does not change like shifting shadows. Our God is not dead but alive; he is the creator of all things and has been for eternity. No one likes our God that saves us from death or destruction. Our God is not a thief but an honest to give us abundant life in Christ Jesus. Our God is a loving father who loves us unconditionally and never gives up on you and me. In Isaiah

"Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and their children after them." Deuteronomy 4:9 One of the most important things you can do in your life is to stay faithful to God. Regardless of your trials and temptations, it's crucial to remember that He is always with you. In Leviticus 22:31, God said, "You are to keep My commandments and practice them. I am the LORD." If you want to live a good life, it's important to obey God's commands. God knows what's best for you, and if you follow His guidance, you can be sure that you'll be blessed. The book of Deuteronomy 4 is a perfect example of how reflection can be used to help individuals grow closer to God. In this passage, Moses reflects on the Israelites' journey through the wilderness and how they overcame many challenges by following God's guidance. However, he also informed them that to possess and enjoy the goodness
