"You are a Jew," said the woman. "How can You ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.). John 4:9 In John 4, Jesus speaks to a Samaritan woman, which would have been considered highly taboo in that period. By engaging with her, Jesus demonstrates his true humility, which is putting others before himself. This encounter also allows the woman to come to faith in Jesus. Through his actions, Jesus shows us that true humility is about more than just words; it's about how we treat others and what we do for them. Of course, one would be surprised at what kind of shocking statement the above would be if there were no understanding of what had transpired between the two tribes earlier on, and it could be dated to after Assyria had conquered the northern kingdom of Israel in 722 BC and deported most of its people, a mixed multitude inhabited Samaria. This includes Israelites who were left behind after deportation and foreigners relocated to the region from other parts of

"Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving." Colossians 4:2  An answer to some prayer goes through some process, while other answers can be instantaneous. However, it doesn't matter how you receive the answer; waiting on God is a process that takes time and patience. It's something that we have to continue steadfastly in prayer and thanksgiving. God always works in our lives, even when we can't see it. So we need to keep trusting Him and waiting for His timing.  We can find joy in the small things and keep moving forward through our steadfastness in prayer and thanksgiving. When we pray, we are communicating with the one who created everything and knows everything. We can be thankful for what we have been blessed with, even when our circumstances are difficult. So, as we wait on God, let's continue to pray and be thankful. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, "Always Rejoice, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for

"Wait patiently for the LORD; be strong and courageous. Wait patiently for the LORD!" Psalm 27:14 We may feel like God has forgotten us or that He's not listening while waiting. But the truth is, God is always with us. The Bible is full of verses about waiting on God. For example, in Psalm 27:14, David writes, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take courage and wait for the Lord." While waiting on God can be difficult, it is important to remember to be strong and take courage. In Isaiah 40:31, God tells us, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Enduring difficult times is never easy, but with the strength of Jesus, it can be much easier. Just think about all the things Jesus endured during His life on earth. He was betrayed by one of His disciples, arrested illegally, and sentenced to death—all while He was completely innocent. But even through all that, Jesus never gave up. He knew His Father was always with Him, which was enough to keep Him going. Psalm 31:24 says, "Be strong and courage

"Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes." Psalm 37:7 While waiting on God, do we trust that God is in control and working all things together for our good? Or do we become frustrated and disappointed when things don't go the way we want them? When we experience a delay or a difficult situation, our first response should be to trust that God is in control. We may not understand what He is doing, but we can trust that He is working all things together for our good. We all have those moments when it feels like nothing is going right. Not only that, but we're stuck in a dead-end job, our health is failing, or our relationships are falling apart. In those moments, it's easy to feel like we are all alone and God has forgotten about us. But Psalm 37:7-8 tells us that we don't need to worry when we're going through tough times. Instead, we should resist fretting, refrain from anger, and be still. By doing this, we can

"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14 Are you waiting on God? Put your hope in his Word! It's easy to put our hope in people, but what happens when they let us down? We can be left feeling disappointed and hopeless. For example, a doctor may not be able to heal us, a teacher may not be able to help us learn and pass, a spouse may not be able to make us happy, and an employer may not be able to give us a job or promotion, or friends may let us down. However, when we put our hope in Christ, we can be sure that we will await confidently and be found without shame. When we put our hope in God's Word, we can trust that he will keep his promises. We can also be assured that he is always faithful. God is always there for us, even when we are waiting. In the Bible, there are many examples of people who waited on God. "In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning, I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly." Psalm 5:3 Waiting on God can be difficult when it seems like sometimes He doesn't answer our prayers the way we want Him to. We may be waiting on Him to fix a problem in our lives or to change someone else's heart. We may be waiting on Him to do something great in the world. But while we are waiting, we must remember to watch with expectancy and keep asking God to help us, as today's bible verse said. Elijah was a man who waited on God. He showed great patience while waiting for God to answer his prayers. In 1 king 18:42-46, Elijah prayed seven times for rain to come so the drought could end. He didn't give up on God, even when it seemed no answer was coming. Instead, he watched with expectancy, knowing God would answer him in His time. Even though Elijah's servant kept saying, "there is nothing there," Elijah didn't give up. He knew God was still working in the situation, even if it wasn't the way he

"Wait for the Lord and keep his way,   and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off.  " Psalm 37:34 God is not a man that he should lie,   nor the son of man that he should repent: hath he said,   and shall he not do it?   Or hath he spoken,   and shall he not make it good?   Many people are always waiting for something from God.   They are always waiting for their prayers to be answered and for God to do something for them.   However,   as you are waiting,   do you fully trust God during your waiting period?   Because Waiting is never easy.   We often want what we want when we want it and don't like waiting around for anything.   This is especially true when it comes to waiting on God.    We may be tempted to doubt or question Him during our wait,   but Psalm 37:7 says,   "Be still before the Lord and wa

"Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful." James 5:11 Are you waiting on God? Are you waiting for Him to do something for you? Waiting can be a difficult thing. We often want what we want, and we want it now. As a result, we can become impatient and frustrated when things don't happen as we think they should. But what if we learned to wait on God? What if we waited with anticipation and expectation, knowing He is always working in our lives? Yes, while you are waiting, God might seem harsh to you; he might give you strict instructions to follow. While you are waiting, you might lose something you value so much, which might be something that hinders God's intervention in your life (2 Peter 3:9). Therefore, please don't be upset about it, no matter what happens, but stay humble. God may choose to answer your prayer quickly. However, there may be a time when you need

This is a call to integrity, as those who wait on God are not driven by their desires or agendas but by the will of God. However, this command is often ignored, as people quickly give up on God and try to fix things themselves. The lack of 'waiting' leads to many problems in the world today because people without integrity are constantly changing their beliefs and values to fit in with others. Of course, waiting time is a period of sowing in tears (Psalm 126:5), where one needs to get on his knees to seek God's face. It is a period of believing in God during trials and persecutions. However, in these periods, what should you do as a disciple of Christ that truly believes and follows him? "These are the things you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace." Zechariah 8:16 Integrity is one of the most important traits a person can have. People with integrity are honest and truthful, which breeds happiness and trustworthiness. People who deceive others or put on air eventually get caught and are unhappy with themselves. There are many benefits to living with integrity. One of these benefits is happiness. People with integrity are generally happier because they have peace of mind and a clear conscience. They know that they are doing the right thing, and this makes them content. Being truthful with others is one of the most important aspects of any relationship. It builds trust and strengthens relationships. When we are truthful, it shows that we respect and trust the other person. We can rely on them to be honest with us, which is a key component of any healthy relationship. Lying can have serious consequences for the person we lied

"Those who follow the right path fear the LORD; those who take the wrong path despise him. " Proverbs 14:2 Integrity breeds happiness.  A person known for their honesty and uprightness is usually content.  They do not have to worry about the consequences of their actions because they know they have done the right thing,  no matter what others think.  This peace of mind leads to happiness that is internal and permanent.  Proverb 19:1 says,  "Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than he who is crooked in his ways and rich. " Integrity is key to a happy life.  When we walk in integrity,  we are living our lives the way God wants us to live.  We are also obeying Jesus' commandment to love others as ourselves.  Living with integrity makes us happier because we know we are doing what is right and don't have to worry about what others think of us.  We can be content knowing that we are living a good life before God.  John 14:21 says,  "Whoev

"If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:14  When we doubt that God can work miracles, we are limiting His power. But when we have faith that He can do anything, we open ourselves up to possibilities we could never have imagined. So believe in miracles! They happen every day. When we pray, we make our requests known to God. We open our hearts and seek Him. We trust that He hears us and will answer in His own time and in His way. Prayer is the master key that unlocks the door to heaven. When we pray, miracles happen. A young lady told me that she was recently reminded of the power of prayer. A friend of mine was in a difficult situation, and I reached out to God on her behalf. The next day, she texted me and told me that things had taken a turn for the better. Prayer is the master key. It is easy to doubt and lose faith when things are tough. But don't forget, miracles do happen. Sometimes all it takes is someone to reach out and ask for help. Webster defines a miracle as "an event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the act of a divine being." Quite simply, a miracle is something that cannot be explained by natural law. It's an event that occurs outside the realm of what we know to be possible. This world is full of things we do not understand. God does great and unsearchable, marvelous things without number (Job 5:9). Though, for some people, this might mean that they do not believe in miracles because they do not believe in God. For others, miracles are just events that we may not understand. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you." 1 Kings 17:9 Miracles happen, and we can see this firsthand in the story of Jesus. He showed us that there is a miracle with our name on it, and we can experience this miracle when we put our trust in Him. "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 Dear friends, If you're feeling down, there's healing in the atmosphere! James 5:14-15 promises, "Are any of you sick? You should call for the church's elders to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven." There's nothing God won't do to see that smile light up your face, and His glory is revealed in your life. The power of prayer is real! When we come together in faith and petition God for healing, we release His energy into the world. There's healing in the atmosphere, and available to everyone who asks. So don't hesitate to reach out to someone you trust and ask them to pray for you. The healing power of God is waiting to manifest in your life now, in Jesus' name. "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise." Jeremiah 17:14  I'm always amazed by God's power and love. I know he can do anything – including giving you a miracle with your name. When you're going through a tough time, it's natural to want to find someone to blame. When bad things happen to good people, it's hard not to feel like there's something wrong with the world. It's easy to get wrapped up in negative thoughts and spiral downwards into depression. But what if I told you there was a healing in the atmosphere, and your name was written all over it? Claim it. Believe in God. He's waiting for you. When life seems unfair, and you can't seem to catch a break, it's easy to lose hope. But don't give up on yourself just yet! There is healing in the atmosphere, and your name is written all over it. You are special and have a unique purpose. When you start to believe in yourself, miracles will begin to happen because you become open to the power of God. All you need to do is let go and let Him take control. He has great things planned for your life, so don't be afraid to dream big! Just keep your heart open and be prepared for amazing things. Miracles are all around us. Sometimes we see them with our own eyes, and sometimes we only feel their power. But they are always happening. In the Bible, we read about many miracles. One of my favorite miracles is the miracle of the loaves and fish (Matthew 14:13-21). Jesus was teaching a large crowd of people, and they were getting hungry. So, Jesus asked his disciples to give him a few loaves of bread and the fish they had available. His disciples didn't think that would be enough, but Jes

"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him." 1 John 4:9 The spiritual significance of love is found throughout the Bible. Love is one of the most important spiritual concepts in Christianity. The Bible says that love is from God (1 John 4:7) and that God is love (1 John 4:8). This means that love is a part of who God is. Christians are called to love others as Jesus loves them (John 13:34-35). This can be a challenge, but it is worth it because we receive the blessings of God when we love others.  Though you don't know who genuinely loves you anymore because people smile from afar off, inside them is evil. They are like the devil, who lies in the shadows of your soul to make you believe he is real. But don't let their fake love fool you, thinking it's true because it can only make you feel miserable and worthless because love is a key element of our relationship with God. "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7 I reject every spirit of rejection, failure, and sickness. I say no to every spirit of stagnation, delay, and backwardness. These spirits are not from God, and they will not have any dominion over me. Instead, I choose to live in the spirit of success, victory, and health. I am blessed, and I will prosper in all that I do. Not only that, but I am moving forward in God's perfect timing, and I will not be hindered by any spirit of Rejection, Failure, or Sickness. I hold to the promises of God in Psalm 118:17, which says, "I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done." In Jesus' name. Brethren, there is power in saying no. When we reject every spirit of rejection, failure, and poverty, we open ourselves up to the possibility of success and abundance. In 2 Timothy 1:7, Paul says that God has not given us a spirit of rejection, failure, or poverty but power, love, and self-discipline. We can choose to

"That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." John 3:6 For some people, their relationship with God is the most important thing in their lives. They would do anything to ensure their relationship with Him stays strong. For others, their relationship with God is not as important, and they are not as diligent in their pursuit of Him. When Jesus speaks of the kingdom of heaven, he describes it as a feast where many are invited, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:14) In other words, not everyone who is called will receive eternal life. This is why it's so important to say "NO!" to the things that pull us away from God. In Matthew 25:1-13, the Bible talked about the ten virgins, but why were only five prepared and met with the bridegroom? It wasn't because they were better than the others. They had said "NO!" to the things that pulled them away from God. Brethren, is anything pulling you away from God's presence or ordained plan? Because you are pulled away from God by th
