New year, new meh
01/01/2020 Duración: 27min2019. We made it! ✨ First just a note to say thank you for all your support. To each and every one who listens to this podcasts, sends me messages, leaves reviews and so on to support this labour of love which i create with love and send to you to hopefully offer you some space and freedom on this wild rollercoaster we call life! Whether or not you celebrate new year now, just wanted to share a reminder that every day every moment in the day offers us the opportunity to start again, to begin again. This episode is very much about new year and how we can take the pressure off of ourselves and recognise that we get to choose. We get to choose how we show up, and how we step into this newness with intention and realness in ways that feel GOOD, as opposed to making ourselves feel a bit crap for not keeping up, or not doing the things that we wanted to do, whatever it is. Instead we get to reframe, and connect in more meaningful and feel-good ways. This is a rebroadcast of episode 4 with a new intro i record

5 things to try when overwhelmed by newsfeeds
15/08/2019 Duración: 09minToday's episode is a short, but hopefully effective one, and is for those of you who know what it is to occupy this weird space between holding grief and seeking joy. It’s in reference to recent news events but also addressing the times we live in, when news, newsfeeds and difficult stuff can feel so overwhelming that it can be hard to know what to do and how to get back to yourself so you can be most useful. I don’t know about you but when i hear about something horrific or witness terrible things in the news, it puts me in this weird state of hyper anxiety and numbness. It's hard to do anything at all. So i’m sharing 5 things that help me come back to my centre when occupying so many spaces and carrying so many feelings simultaneously. I also invite you to add your own so we can provide inspiration for others out there who are having a difficult time. Really hope this is useful. Let’s get into it. *********** I love to hear from you, requests for show topics, thoughts, etc, so please reach out to me.

What do you (really) want? dreams for my 40th year
02/06/2019 Duración: 33min“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style” - Maya Angelou Friends! I have a question for you! What do you want? So some of you know i’ve been on a bit of a quest this year, this lifetime, to be more me, to allow Ethel, my alter ego some slack and embrace expression, shamelessness and learning how to be. 15 self care ideas to shift your state
18/05/2019 Duración: 09minDarlings, in challenging times, it's so vital that we show up for ourselves so we can meet the world from as grounded a place as possible, and be most useful to our communities. If you are experiencing sadness or any related feel, i hope you can be reminded that although the feeling is most certainly real, it doesn't define us, nor is it a static thing. Hence why people tend to deal with grief in different ways. It´s ok to step back. To be more tender. To not get it all done. To do what you need to do to feel better. One thing i would add though, is that if you feel ready, try to find a way to move - it might be a physical movement, or offering yourself space to welcome in a new energy. It doesn't mean you're not still grieving or sad, or rejecting one feeling for another. It means you're opening up and being receptive to new ones. Shifting your state to something that's hopefully more helpful. I hope that you are able to navigate things in ways that you feel supported. For me, upping my practice of self care i
