    04/04/2017 Duración: 06min

Suffering for a cause – that’s what I’ve always believed in. When I set out with the goal of creating The Sufferfest, I wanted to not only create the world’s toughest indoor cycling training videos, but I also wanted to inspire others around me to do good. Giving back to the community and having The Sufferfest reflect a philanthropic value has always been important to me along this journey. What began as a creative outlet allowed me to take my hobby and turn it into a career. Now playing in more than 50 countries, the population of Sufferlandria is growing each and every day. It’s a consistent reminder that the underlying mission of the Sufferfest is to make people proud of themselves, and proud to be a part of the community surrounding it.As a former investment banker, I came up with the idea for the Sufferfest while living in Zurich. The Herbal Pharmacist says people love diet trends, and part of the American culture is being obsessed with something new, even if it’s a fad. If it’s a healthy trend, he says we should just embrace it because if gets someone motivated or excited to improve their overall health it is worth it. Keep in mind that diets in general just don’t work. People need to use the latest scientific findings coupled with common sense to drop unhealthy pounds. Eating healthy, clean and exercising everyday is what makes us all a lean mean fighting machine.

  • Dealing with Family Relationships at the Holiday (Part 1) - Dr. Sam Alibrando 12/16/16

    10/03/2017 Duración: 13min

Improving Family Relationships at the Holidays, is it possible? Is there anyone who wouldn't like to improve all of their relationships, whether at home, at work, or both? And is there a better time to get smart about this than just preceding this festive holiday season?Just as there are three dimensions of the physical world: height, width and depth, there are three dimensions of the interpersonal world: power, love, and mindfulness. How well we learn to navigate them directly corresponds to how well we live our lives, how happy and fulfilled we feel.Human reactivity is the source of most of our interpersonal problems and pain. The 3 Dimensions of Emotions introduces the concept of working the triangle, a unique practice that provides a compelling yet practical road map that can help you move from painful reactivity to productive pro-activity in your relationships. And it works just as successfully for a CEO of a Fortune 500 company as it does for a parent struggling to communicate with a teenager. And for all

  • Collaboration Can Improve Your Health - Charmaine Hammond 2/3/17

    08/02/2017 Duración: 16min

It’s no secret…when people pull together for a common cause or goal the results can improve your health. Many years ago I worked in the Correctional System with young offenders. To provide the custodial care and therapeutic treatment to help these young people improve their lives post incarceration, collaboration was key, and it actually had a ripple effect. Not only was the young offender better served, the impacts rippled over to the youth’s family. Fast forward several years when I worked in the health care system, on a psychiatry unit. The level of collaboration within the health care system, inclusion of alternative health and wellness services, the family, school and other key players in the patient’s life helped ensure the best care possible. When I opened my business I made collaboration one of the foundations upon which my business was built. I collaborate on many projects, one being the Global Influence Summit (GIS). The Global Influence Summit brings together transformational leaders and expert
