There are a lot of hip hop artist that have "fallen off" in the past few years. On the flip side it seems like the R&B artist are on the rise. I really only listen to rap/hip hop when I'm rolling, but I have to admit some of the R&B music that drops nowadays is pretty hot. It USED to be a distinct difference between the two. The melodies and moods of the songs where more about love and relationships in R&B barring the occasional song about partying. Lately though we have a lot of songs from the R&B side that are just as self centered, boastful and even violent (bust ya windows out ya car) as some rap songs. The actual production (beats) are becoming less distictive also. R&B was supposed to be the "grown folks" music for the most part back in the day. It was the one that you could count on to mellow down the mood and chill. But it seems like now the R&B songs can jump start a party just as quick as the hottest RAP song (BLAME IT ON THE ALCOHOL). We all have a slight alter ego lurking inside of us. The REPRESENTATIVE is the person that we put on display to the public world most of the time. It is the person we use to make first impressions almost ALL of the time. Depending on where you are, who you are encountering, and what is at stake, I think we ALL have a REPRESENTATIVE on stand by that we can access if needed. Now of course a lot of times we use this person when we are engaging someone of the opposite sex. It's only natural that MEN & WOMEN use the REPRESENTATIVE on first dates, since without them there would be A LOT less 2nd dates in the world. Many people think that this is a form of being a FAKE person. Just another form of NOT keeping it 100. Of course you know I would not advocate ANYTHING that doesnt keep it 100, but using your REPRESENTATIVE in some cases could be the difference in some important matters, like getting laid, staying out of jail, or even getting a job! Look it's not like your REPRESENTATIVE should be the EXACT OPPOSITE

SPORTS!! For those that know me you KNOW I LIKE TO WATCH THEM! Some I have played myself formerly and as a pastime. I keep up with stats a lil bit, but I can't quote to you who had the most points for a specific team past 3 years. Mostly I watch for the excitement of the moment and entertainment in provides. I am competitive, but i can be a team player, also traits of an athlete. I tend to mostly watch the big games like the Playoffs, Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Championship, March Madness, College Football bowls, and BOXING/UFC MATCHES that are worth it (nowadays mostly UFC!) Like most people I guess you can say I have my favorites teams of course and specific players that have game, but I am not FANATICAL about any of them. I know we have had a "womens liberation" thing going on for sems like damn FOREVER (really ladies, you are free give it a rest already!), but now they wanna party like rock stars too. I balled out this past weekend. Hey I deserved a lil fun night like that, we all do. While I was there and looking at all the fine women that passed by I thought to myself, like I always do, 'I wonder why SHE in here tonight?' Of course she is NOT here to find a man. I mean why would she be since almost every woman feels like you can't find LOVE IN THE CLUB. Don't you hate when people try to get over on you? Nothing makes me madder then someone trying my intellect! If you have live long enough it has happened to you. Now us guys, yeah we have tried a woman or twos intellect if you ever got caught cheating and had to lie ya way out of it (or at least attempt to) and this goes for you women with the HOE gene also. But sometimes people really try you like you a damn dummy! Most often the people who do this are underage. You know how it is when you a kid, you really think you damn slick! As if all the BS you trying to pull, you the first person to think it up! You know like the classic "I'm staying at a friends house" routine and you end up in the back of someones car with fogged up windows! Probably the worst part of being a black person is precieved and actual fact based feelings about us in the work place. No other minority group in this country has a more negative forcasted future, and a worse reputation of sticking together. Pretty depressing, but that didn't just happen over night. At one point we had a common cause that made us stick together, stay with our families and work hard. Now we are pegged as lazy workers, with poor customer service that don't support our own people. I have a few pet peaves, and one of them at the very top is BAD HYGENE. This is one thing I simply can't tolerate from a female. We just won't work together. I know some guys like to use the "I'm a man I don't need all that extra stuff" excuse for letting themselves go, and to them I say homie you full of sh**. There is absolutely one thing that we will all experience in our life that is without argument: DEATH. I often wondered why we were created only to die. Seems a tad bit cruel to give a beautiful gift such as life, only to guarantee that at some point it will be snatched from you. We all deal with death in different ways. I have some associates and friends that are white people. Even though about 95% of them are black, the 5% of them that are white are cool folks. But I notice that there is a difference between some of the white people I interact with.
